Crystal Mountain is a gorgeous alpine ski site. However, if you are not a ski enthusiast, worry not! This place has a plenty of offerings available. Here’s a list of things you can do:
• Ride the Gondola up to the summit and get a panoramic view of the mountains and ranges from the majestic Rainier to Olympic to Baker.
• Take a Snowshoe trail and explore the beautiful nature
• Dine at the Summit House which is the highest restaurant in Washington state or Snowing Elk restaurant.
• Carry some walnuts to feed the Canadian Jays
How to reach?
This can be easily reached by car but if you’re looking to travel via public transit, the best time would be between Nov and April.
Route:
• Take 578 from Seattle downtown until Auburn Transit Center
• Board 915 from Auburb TC until Griffin Ave and Roosevelt Ave E
• Walk/ take a Lyft until Enumclaw Exposition Center
• Board the Free Shuttle to Crystal Mountain
