Cause he hardly plays multiplayer so the algorithm in place is giving him easier lobbies to entice him to play more. If he did this for like another 4 games in the same day, he’d play against kids with japanese katakana usernames too. Not to mention mosh pit playlists have lowered SBMM. If you honestly want easier lobbies without VPN, play 10v10 mosh pit.

I know everyone be saying this cuz pros make average players look like bots but I can guarantee you that none of my lobbies are like this. It’s full of meta weapons with people slide cancelling and jump challing everything. Stuns, flashes and gas grenades getting thrown everywhere and people quick scoping with kar98ks. What even was this lobby? How are my lobbies harder than a pros? But fr I feel him on the dna bomb. That shit dopeless af. The Moab felt so much more rewarding to get.

The matchmaking system pulls data from ranked play, because it’s not the score that matters, but the way you play. In other words, the game can tell how good you are not by your score but by how you play. The way you move, the way you shoot, the way you rotate from position to position. The reason why Shotzzy got an easier lobby is still because he doesn’t play pubs much, but not because the game has no data. It’s more because the game wants him to keep playing more and more. That's why it uses engagement-optimized matchmaking. It also has something to do with the in game store, but that would be too much to get into.
