I just re-watched this and it was so intense! Tebo had a crazy charge, RONNEFALK put on a clinic, and Scotty is just an absolute beast! Man this was such a good race.

The announcing was perfect! Great job .

Been watching the live streams all weekend and let's just say I was about to get a kraton 6s to get back into rc's for fun (used to race them growing up) but now I'm gonna buy a race buggy and get back into racing 😁

Yeah, I was disappointed that the commentators weren't picking up on that when it happened. A slow-mo replay also would have been nice 😄

Because regrooming takes a lot of time and these big 1/8th scale buggies can handle the rough surfaces unlike modern 1/10th scale vehicles. Trust me, if they were running 1/10th scale I guarantee the drivers would have made a huge stink about it.

Awesome race, savage track. In 2020 why can 1/8 race on real dirt while 1/10 races on candy mountain or fluffy rugs? Seriously, its even the same drivers.

Because most 1/10th scale cars really can't handle these big 1/8th scale dirt tracks, and they definitely can't share tracks at the same event because of how rough the 1/8th scale cars are on the surface. Only stadium trucks can handle the roughness and only 1/10th 4WD mod buggies can really clear the same jumps. There's also the fact that the pros flat-out demand as much traction as possible. "Sugargate" at the 2014 Cactus Classic was due to the drivers demanding it. That being said, there are proper dirt tracks out there specifically tailored to 1/10th scale, a lot of which were originally built for short course trucks. They're built with smaller jumps that are more 1/10th scale friendly. Thing is, it's the high-traction stuff that attracts racers, so even these tracks are starting to go the way of the dodo in favor of clay, carpet and astro.

This looks like the worst track maintenance I have ever seen. Do they ever smooth things out? This seriously looks like a C main race.

Wrong commentary, in that turn Baruffolo didn't spin Maifield!!! Maifield went straight into Baruffolo on that u turn...watch it. I understand Mainfield is American but at least comment right........
