Feels like Luciano needs to slow down and create those special moments in his freestyles. He has no problem hitting beats but it feels like his dance is always rushing and not expressed enough... He stings like a bee but doesn’t float like a butterfly. Expecting a big breakthrough in his style...

Totally agree. He's very athletic, but he rushes way too much and thus struggles to maintain a good flow with the track, just like a bboy.

IMmeechbro I would say so... But I think it’s him trying to change. Many times that groove made him stay at a certain melody for too long or overwhelmed his special moves too much. In this battle, you can see him try to hear different parts of the song more and he trades the groove for the transitioning to those parts. You can also see him spend more time doing set up for his power moves so that’s another trade off. Overall, yes his groove has decreased but it’s for the sake of his overall style improving. That’s why I’m expecting alot when he finally finds the perfect mix and feels comfortable even without relying on groove because when a dancer can dance without relying on groove, it will seem like the music follows him and not the other way around.

I had no doubt he did Breakdance before hip hop. Does he have an older brother who does full break? I remember a battle past November where he battled with an older guy who looked a lot like him

Lil Blade definitely got robbed of this round. I guess he is going by Luciano now, and i definitely understand some of everyone's qualms with his style, but maybes the "rushed" feel to his transitions are to capitalize on his athleticism and solidify his unique style amongst the sea of talented dancers. In my opinion there are times where 'he floats on air' so to speak and this isn't necessarily one of those times, nor was it needed... he should've taken this easy like.
