I'm a sound and lighting technician. I was waiting for the rest of the world to go through what we went through about 15 years ago. Technology catching up with you. I work in live entertainment so you know these big stars have to have the best stuff as fast as possible to compete with each others shows. So we went through the analog to digital transformation. Now addressing a train engine, or a car with effects, and now free rolling diecast. Same theory as addressing a high tech moving light like the ones you see spinning around at concerts that look like lasers but they are not if that effect is desired. We can do a lot more cool stuff than these trains do but glad to see it moving along. I imagine it just took lionel to take the big step then the rest have to follow.

The most incredible 1/64 scale collection I’ve ever seen!!! One day, I would hope to have even half this many trucks along with the diorama!! Great great job with this!!

I believe you are talking about the wedge trailer, that is a scratch-built labor of love. But there is a guy selling kits on Ebay to convert a green light trailer into a wedge trailer. He's a buddy of mine and they work pretty well👍😎

These are all 1/64 scale diecast models. Mostly metal, with plastic detailing. These trucks are not remote control although I do have a surprise coming in the future😏

There are many many ways to fix those kinds of problems. You could do a wheel swap. Depending on what the actual damage is. Almost everything is repairable😉😁
