"Lost" your sound? Decal issues? I think it was the Canadian great spirit Tim Horton smiting a Canadian for making a Dunkin' gasser.

I was just thinking I haven't seen a video from Austin lately, and here you are! I love the sparkling. I'm a sucker for sparkles.

Love the car theme. I would have liked to see the over spray fix and the stance change. Those are a couple of the learning points which you do so well. As for the decals, I assume you have notified the seller so he can hopefully address the problem. As a business owner, I have always stressed that negative input is as important if not more so than positive. A problem can not be corrected if I don't know about it. And if this seller is reputible, then he or she deserves a chance to correct your issue and perhaps even compensate you for your trouble. Thanks for another great project!

I restored a Fender Stratocaster guitar and bough a aftermarket headstock decal. When I went to smooth out the bubbles the decal ran. The guy sent me another one and suggested a very thin coat of clear. It worked great and when I clear coated over it, blended in well.

In the future you can spray the decals with a clearcoat before you dip them in the water. That would keep the print from being destroyed.

99% of professional or retail decals don't need that treatment, like the ones that come with models are typically pretty sturdy. He must have thought the same and as much as that guy charges for them, I would too...

Well, after the first one, I would have clearcoated the rest. Don't get me wrong, he does great work. I just would not have trusted the rest of the decals. I know he didn't even though he used them as they were anyway.

You never know what's going to be next with a Diecast resurrection video, but you know it's going to be good ! Really enjoyed this one even with no voiceover at the end !!

It turned out great even though the decals maybe need to be sealed with clearcoats. Can't wait to see the candy colored dumpster truck.

Good job. Why not Timmies, being a Cannuk. Try coating the decal in your clear floor polish, that might keep them from running.

The Decals were definitely not sealed. I print my Decals and you need to clear coat them because the ink will run off (like yours). Maybe the seller forget that. I use acrylic water-based clear coat "acid free" from a can. Works great. Hope I could help!

I bought them from him and his decals did the same thing the ink faded while applying.

You might try Marty's Matchbox Makeovers trick by spraying some clear coat on top of the decals to stop the bleeding on them. Nice channel, I do recommend that! Didn't expect that bummer from mycustomhotwheels, but maybe he has the cool designs and just print on regular decal paper as you could do it at home or something. This guy ain't cheap though...

That turned out great. You even managed to salvage the decals. Awesome job.

Advice for a future build... Lay the thin tape side by side from the center out, then peel away every other one. They will all be even. 👍🙃👍

That's awesome. I would've dipped part of the car in a dark brown color so it would look like a doughnut being dipped in some coffee. Can't wait to see the next episode. Blubbling Sparkly.

Awesome gasser buddy. on the decals, what he forgot to do is seal the ink. ive heard from a buddy, that when you print water slide decals, you are to let the ink dry. then you spray a sealer this protects the ink, when you soak them and apply them. not sure what its called. but it looks like he didnt or forgot to do that step when he made them.

My buddy's mom and dad had a Ford station wagon that had a 428 in it and that thing was the fastest family boat around. Would love to hot rod one of them for reals.. Great build here!

Hello there Mr. Resurrection, my son and spend hours watching your channel. We found a couple of oldies we thought you might like include on your channel of awesomeness. We would like to send them to you but I'm not sure where to send them. I posted pics of them on your F/B page. Blub Blub all day long...

Looks like the decals were printed on inkjet printer which means the pigments are water soluble. You can seal them with one or two coats of clear lacquer. Then when you dip them in water they will stay intact and you can place them with pliers or brush without damaging the ink.

Awesome... the wheels are a beauty... a lot betters than the previous one...

So I'm guessing due to the whole .e x e that this was a 3D card which is cool I definitely need to get myself a 3D printer and a way to make decals but that would have to be in the future for me! One day perhaps! It deffinately puts doing customs on a whole new level! Great job bro!

That is exactly what happens when you don't put a clear lacquer over an ink-jet decal. If these are laser decals I'd contact the seller.

I have run into the ink running like that. I ended up clear coating the decal sheet before cutting them and putting them in water. Pain in the ass, but that's what I came up with. Sorry for your aggravation. On the other hand the wagon looks killer ! 🍻

The Homer is exquisite. Even tho the decals sucked you still made it work together with the sparkles

I had similar problems with the same decal supplier with assorted flames, but not as bad as your decals. Love the gasser though.

I've never seen decals come apart like that, and I've used some real garbage decals with some models. That's awful man, I'm sorry. At least the car came out great!!

Try spray clear coat on the details first let it dry out then put them in water hopefully the paint won't come off

Do a roadkill muscle truck

The decal art must be sealed first by spraying on a clear coat lacquer spray like Testors brand. I think it is good practice to do this with decals regardless if they do or don't do this step!!! Note, if a decal on decal paper stays on the paper for over a year the air will crack and yellow it. Been there done that. Now where's my caramel mocha ice tea? Homer likes mmmmm,Doh-nuts!🍩☕👍🏼👍🏼

They take them out of the printer and ship 'em out without doing anything else!

Really great job here, but I was hoping to see the front of the car- I was curious if you were able to do anything with the big block of plastic under the front bumper? Is there any way to make that section look cool?
