1/6 Scale Vehicle Collection

Ойын-сауық

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to watch this somewhat brief overview of my 1/6 scale vehicle collection. It wasn't until I brought all of these together that I realized how big of a task this was haha. I apologize for the lack of detail on each vehicle but there was a lot to cover and I didn't want to bombard you with details. If you have any questions on a particular piece please let me know and I'll do my best to answer them. As always if you feel so inclined please like, comment, and or subscribe for future content. Until then I hope you stay safe and I'll see you all next time.

    Fantastic collection indeed! Regarding the 1/6 scale 1940 Willys Jeep, I believe the RC version from Rochobby and the SAS Desert Raider kit model from Dragon are the ultimate. As for your Humvees, there's something odd about the proportions of the black and the beige one. They look like their exteriors are 1/10 scale but the interiors are 1/6 scale.

    Thank you for the kind remarks! Ah yes I want to get my hands on that Rc version at some point but I have to stop buying figures first haha. I don't think I've seen the Dragon version before. Also I think you're on the right track in regards to the two 21st century toys humvees. It doesn't help that the hood is so low compared to the rest of the vehicle. There's a hasbro one that came out a while back that is perfect but I can't seem to get my hands on it for a decent price 😅

    @@filmaholic17 _I don't think I've seen the Dragon version before._ It's this one: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mnVopdJmeNCviaw.html BTW, since we're on the topic of Humvees, one of the proudest items in my collection is the HG-P408 - a model of the military "turtle-back" Humvee. It is *insanely* detailed for a functional RC car - with front and rear independent suspension and (un)locking differentials, mechanical transmission, metal chassis parts, etc. Only it's 1/10, not 1/6th scale, but it's the absolute best model of the vehicle on the market.

    I have a question that if I get an answer this could help me tremendously. With diecast vehicle models trucks and cars and possibly bikes what is the tallest size that you could get in deluxe for 1/6 scale action figures to fit in? The answer would be very helpful thank you. By the way nice collection.

    If you're looking for strictly diecast 1/6 scale vehicles there's only one I can think of that won't broke the bank. There's a Tonka Bronco that is relatively easy to come by that is diecast. More often than not 1/6 scale vehicles are made of plastic because of the size. The other specialty ones, that I know of, which are the most accurate hit the 1k plus mark so if you've got the spare money there are those. I'll leave a couple links to images of what I'm referring to so I hope this helps. Jealous of your vehicle collection. So far I have one motorcycle and another coming in soon, though I would love to have a much bigger 4 wheel vehicle like that Jeep. I would also love to customize, and weather it for a post-apocalyptic setting that I am leaning towards.

  • @filmaholic17

    @filmaholic17

    Ah thank you and well looking at it now it just reminds me I should probably downsize it to some extent haha 😅 Yeah my plan for the jeep was to customize it into a more powerful crawler but I have to do more research before jumping into that project. A pos-apocalyptic vehicle would be great to see! I recently came across this video of a guy who converted the hasbro half track into a rustic rc vehicle and it was awesome to watch. If you're looking for a project to experiment with there's the tonka bronco that has a decent base for anything you'd plan to add to it. • @filmaholic17

    Yeah for the most part they should as long as it’s not an rc version. Those typically don’t leave room for figures because of the rc function. 21st century toys is a safe bet for vehicles that fit 1/6 scale figures but even then it’s a sacrifice on the accuracy of the vehicle. Hope this helps! 🙌☺️
