I just bought this because it still was the "nicest" 959 rally car available (for what I found), I'm thinking of retouching it a little to make it better too

I was excited that HW made this car! The 959 is an old favorite. For the road version, I like the versions from Kyosho and Tomica. But you’re right, there’s no better Dakar 959 in 1:64.

@@alvaroraulsandovalmonteneg9283 The stl is not for sale. Shapeways prints things so you are buying a raw acrylic wheelset that you have to paint still. Shapeways actually prints nicer since it is SLA technology with a wax support, my printer is a lower quality resin technology.

What I'm pissed about is that the side windows on the 911 casting are much worse than this. Hotwheels can't seem to improve that casting even in premium and RLC series.

I looked at the recent mainline 911 but no graphics on the lights so passed on them. Luckily there's no shortage of 911s from countless other brands.

@@smallmodelcollector I'm talking about the giant B-pillar the Hotwheels casting of the 911 has. It shouldn't be there like on this 959.

@@smallmodelcollector yeah. It's just a shame that Hotwheels won't improve the 911 casting. Especially the 930 Turbo.
