Hopefully your still monitoring your comments. I just finished my Baja 5B electric conversion. I’ve stripped 2 plastic spur gears within a minute of driving. I’ve tried a tight mesh with no play, then I’ve tried a slight play in the mesh using paper. Do you run a metal spur gear or are you on the stock plastic?

R/C CUSTOM lol yeah you have that redcat moving, I think if I had some better 8s lipos I might top out at 65mph but it's still have the stock gearing because it's my basher

Tinsley Smith Yea the SMC 4s lipo batteries are pretty good as long the lipo is over 45c rated you should be ok bro 👍🏼 is there a way that you could go down on the spur gear and go higher on the Pinion thou?

Hi Tin do you have any issues with blowing up inner foams,bro im sick of stuffing up my inner foams,do they make stronger foams for Brushless? or should i use the tape method,all my rc wheels are balanced so if i use tape i would have to re balance.

I will build another 8s Baja, I have already replaced the consoles.

I have 10000 mah 120c burst in my 5T its stupid lol snaps axle pins like crazy and explodes tires so going try Primal drag slicks belted see if they hold up

4s almost as fast as the loud af 26cc Baja 😂😂

You would be faster running those smc batteries in series to get 8s. You would double the voltage but have a higher c rating. Electric is generally easy to understand double the voltage and you draw 1/2 the amps. Amps are what makes everything hot and your limiting factor. And your motor rating is rpm/volt. Double the voltage double the rpm-speed which is exactly what you did.
