when the actual steel ratio exceeds the value of maximum steel ratio, the section need to be redesign.
3:15 The value of B1 when f'c is in between 28 & 55 is 0.85 minus 0.05/7 multiplied by f'c minus 28 (typographical error from NSCP)

@Engr Pogs At 9:07, you did explain that Pmax is limited to steel strain of 0.004. Is Pmax = (0.85 * beta * f'c/fy ) * 3/7 value, equals 0.75 of Pbalanced or lower ? If c/d is 3/7 or 3/8, both their fs's are greater the fy? Thanks in advance for the reply.

Question @Engr Pogs : @8:51 where Es = 0.004. Table 421.2.2 states that Et >= 0.005 for tension controlled. So which shall govern for Rho max if you derive the equation using 0.005 strain, is it the (3/7) or (3/8)?

at Rho max po 0.004 po ung gagamitin na strain kaya yung cmax =(3/7)d,, at 0.005 po c po yun when tension controlled c=(3/8)d

@@engrpogs thanks for the quick reply.. that is true when Pu < 0.10 f'c Ag, 0.004 gagamitin.. naguguluhan talaga ako sa code minsan hahaha.. may mga nagturo kasi na 0.005 ginagamit sa Rho max.. ang nabasa ko naman kay ACI 318-19 sec. 9.3.3.1 table 21.2.2, na ang limit strain for grade 60 is 0.002 + 0.003 = 0.005
