I like the fear the brutes give me, so I just fight off everyone until they’re dead, regardless of agitating the piglins

Fun fact… on bedrock at least, you can shoot piglins with a rocket crossbow and there is no agro… from the pig you hit or any of his friends…I don’t think you get xp either… but 8 minutes of invisibility and a rocket crossbow is the way to go if you want to clear the brutes out safely…

That's very interesting. I have almost no knowledge about Bedrock, but I do know some niche stuff here and there. I do envy the Wither boss mechanics though :)

@@Johnden i have done it! I got lucky and got two smithing templates after rading a housing and a bridge. Didnt even need to go to the Treasure. Nice little surprise since i thought it was only possible to get the smithing template at treasure. i now have full netherite armor and tools, Thank God you can dupe them

@@league6767 Should've included the chest loot. In treasure it's guaranteed while in the other chests it's a 10% chance to find one. In any case, congratulations on beating one of the hardest things in the Nether.

@@Johndenchest loot was about 25 gold blocks, a silk touch diamond pick, about 40 nether quartz blocks, a few stacks of arrows, 30 magma cream, 14 crying obsidian, 30 obsidian, 20 iron blocks, 24 bone blocks, some chains and the Netherite smithing templates

Ancient cities aren’t that complicated as Bastions, but I do have a couple of tips on it. Many people have more trouble finding them than looting them. I could answer it here, but am unsure if I will make a video about it. But I might do the upcoming Trial Chambers.

just finished learning 60% of all the keyfour bastion videos and watching your video help me a lot with how to deal with brute . may I ask why some rsg run on yt has no brute ? is there a version difference which affect brute spawn ?

That is because speedruns are in 1.16.1 where Piglin Brutes were not implemented yet and bartering with Piglins had a better chance to give ender pearls.

I just pillut away and hit them with my sword like build a bridge and hit them from across I also tunnel and only get the treasure chest and gold

Upgrade templates are for versions 1.20 and higher and is only found in lower treasure.
