So many critters! In this episode we start off with a paddle through some class one rapids and we find more rapids along the way. We see all kinds of animals, get a chance to go skinny dipping again after an awesome lunch and crush a few more miles. We find a no camping sign at a boat launch and decide to push on the the next spot where we finish off after dark. We make it to Palisade where we camp under the cover of some bushes and a tree by the boat ramp.

When you get to rapids shorten blues rope by at least half and it will be easier to control. Thanks for sharing this with us

We should have tried that.. We kept the same scope the whole time i think. Had to balance the knot once or twice but didn't think to shorten the scope

I know that there is through passage on beaches and lake fronts, even if someone own the property. There is a free right of passage a certain amount of distance all along the waterline. I am not sure about rivers but why not when that is the case for every other body of water?

It was a little bit ornery of Destinee taking advantage of you, with your lack of self-control. lol! I think you're right on point about the no camping at ramp areas and trailheads. They're just trying to avoid the problems associated with teenagers and troublemakers partying or vagrants setting up a permanent camps. Thanks for sharing your videos. You guys have it figured out; teamwork makes the dream work!

You two set a good example by picking up litter and whatever along your journey / quest. That's Great. Question, on the canoe that you are towing, does it have a keel ? You are pulling it from the bow which is a force applied to the canoe. If you added some kind of keel it might make the canoe keep more in line with the canoe in charge. Just a thought. Row on !!!

Love the wildlife clips and especially the playful times you guys share. You two are a blast. I know this season's videos are already shot, but next season it would be great if there was a way to mic Destinee too so we can hear her parts of the conversations better. Love you guys! Looking forward to more. Thanks! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I’m gonna look into that, there might be a GoPro attachment for that. One potential liability is that a lot of attachments compromise the waterproofing. I might just have to give Destinee the camera a lot more. We also apparently need more shots of camp! And maybe cooking? Anything else you can think of let us know

@@RatCatCrew may not seem like it but i feel you guys were lucky to experience the river in low water. you got to see the river running as perhaps it would be without dams raising the water levels. it is likely the way the river would be naturally with the small rapids every so often
