Ғылым және технология
Kevin Zhang, Senior Vice President, Business Development
& Overseas Operations Office, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company
Semiconductors are the foundation of today’s digital economy and are powering innovations that will shape the trajectory of human history. This paper highlights the latest progress of the semiconductor industry to support a vast spectrum of applications that have forever changed our lives. It gives insight into the paths of continued advanced technology scaling, the essential role of design-technology co-optimization (DTCO), and how system-level integration will elevate system performance to new heights. The advancements of semiconductors will enable many new innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), wireless connectivity, and autonomous driving. The paper also provides the trends of technologies ranging from low-power and edge AI devices to cloudbased computing. By harnessing the new capabilities of semiconductors, these innovations will greatly improve productivity, efficiency, safety, as well as
sustainability. The semiconductor industry is indeed experiencing a “golden era” in spurring remarkable economic growth and unleashing innovations to create a better future for society.

I thought I would fall asleep but it made me stay awake whole night. It's outstanding!
Dr. Zhang's point on semiconductors as the economy's backbone resonated deeply. In our experience, the integration of emerging memory technologies like RRAM is not just a trend but a necessity for future developments. It's fascinating to see how these innovations will shape the industry's path.

WOW, even Advantest's official account commented.
very interesting and a speaker passionate about his field!
I'm watching this on march 2024, I would say this presentation is preety much the most important technical presentation to be understood.
Good speech. I particularly like the part at 3:55 where he explains that AI will shit the growth curve of the industry. Much foresight.
This is very nice to hear. As a masters student focussing in analog and RF, I'm interested to know how much analog design will prevail in lower technology nodes. I'm also keen on seeing how much analog will be used in AI/ML application like in memory computing, Oscillators for RADAR chirping and frequency synthesis
Very insightful talk! Thank you.
A smart person who abandon ship from Intel to tsmc

Great speech!
Outstanding
Thanks!
talk was BOMB
Since 2019 you live in the Urim's era, Urim's algorithm.
Where can i find the slide?
Fantastic
👍👍👍👍
❤
The chip design is now in 3D.
