Imo, i love all the new features, the maps, costumes, ability tweaks, i especially like how Shadow is now a better teamplayer, i also love how Rouge now knows when Sonic is invisable, her Evasion ability is absolutely insane! She now feels more like a Sole-Survivor character, which i like because i love Sole-Survivor type characters in videogames, i also ADORE Amy's Hammer Bounce, i've done so many cool jukes with it and sometimes even combined it with Hammer Attack to stun Sonic with it! In general, Tails being to glide up also makes him WAY better for escaping and just staying away from Sonic to help the team from a far. Oh also something you forgot to mention is that Cream's speedboodt got a slight rework, she now gets 4 seconds of insane speed (letting her outrun all characters) and afterwards runs slightly faster then her base speed for 6 seconds instead of just an 8 second speed boost which i personally found very boring, i'm very excited to see what Cream mains will do with this change other then just running from corner to corner. (yes i've actually seen a Cream main do that 3 rounds in a row and it kinda worked cuz she only stopped doing that when she got caught by Sonic her third game) We Love Poptarts

As like a TD KZreadr myself who played this update overall for me not to bad, not to good, it a ok update like there some flaws I realize when I play with my friends when it dropped like the hitboxes got a bit worse now, exe lunge ofc, jumping got neferd you name for it and I hope Outlaik fix one of them in the future, take his time and continue making amazing updates!

Sonic’s lunge and the character nerfs are sorta ruining the game for me, but I’m getting used to it

While I do like the update, the overwork of lunge is absolutely stupid. It's fast, has little to no downsides, hits multiple people, and basically gives you an infinite guessing game. If you'd ask me, I would change it to where lunge is worked into grab, with the same long cooldown. Meaning it's a game of chance if the Sonic wants to grab you normally, or wind back up to grab you from a longer distance. It not only keeps the lunge system the same in terms of how it works, but balances it out with a equally powerful move and keeps Sonic at the same danger, not knowing if he's going to rush at you with normal hits or flat out smack you silly with an increased grab range. Would it be annoying to code into? Maybe. Would it be hella funny to get snatched from two miles away and he starts gutting you? Honestly, kinda yeah. Also, strawberry. Hands down best poptart.

For tails glide all you need to do is hold the mobile jump button to fly up, other then that great video 👍 (lunge does need to go though 😔)

@@dreamshakzhey man, the reason why exe’s attack is dragged is because you can hold down the attack button as exe, when you do, the attack is replaced by launch(launch will launch you forward alittle bit, but after you perform launch you get a speed debuff that last for less than a second), thats the reason why the hands are up when exe’s attack drags out, it’s not dragging out it’s launching.

I agree with the lunge, its absolutely PAIN to fall and then get hit by sonic when hes on a bridge because of it and its extremely hard to juke 😭 I feel like outlaik shouldve took a bit more time on the game to make it better quality but thats just me Quick edit: I also feel like it's just quite messed up and hasn't had a lot of time to be operated and fixed properly (aswell as the hitbox)

The hitbox has actually gotten worse for the Halloween update. The update is temporary just like the other seasonal updates like Christmas and the April Fools update.

The hardcore mode was really the only bad thing I had to say about this gameode. I'm glad it has been changed.

ima have to disagree with Cream having the scariest EXE model, Sally’s is straight up horrifying imo, though Cream’s dimented smile is pretty creepy, I’ll give u that. (Favorite Poptart Flavor is Strawberry, yes I know its basic) As for Lunge… it just isn’t executed well. I mean, the way it worked in the original public prototype honestly was perfect, it was like old experimental’s lunge, but a lot less janky and unfair since you could only use it on the ground. I really wish outlaik didn’t want it to be a kind of mix-up move, it being almost entirely attack add-on like old experimental just made more sense. Plus the hitbox on it sucks so that makes it worse then it needs to be.

I think the lunge was changed bc you could spam it to catch up to people, but they could just make the hit cooldown longer.

would be cool if they gave tails a "Tails swing" ability to not just stun but also Parry attacks if done correctly, like in Sonic adventure 1 when Tails could just swing his tails to attack it would definitely make him better stunner maybe not the best but it would make the whole arm canon aiming issue less annoying as you'd get the choice to use the arm canon or the tails swing or both of you're really freaking good

It'd be cooler if Tails has that ability in exe form since his arm cannon breaks anyway.

I don't know if it's because I'm a masochist, but I like it, I love Sonic's lunge, I feel like it gives the game more of a challenge because in 1.0 I had the problem of being too bored, since I only needed to jump to avoid Sonic, I think that over time we will get used to it and we will know how to counter the lunge, just give it a week.

Yeah im happy that Cream is not useless anymore on hardcore :)

Honestly great update,I myself think that the characters are way too restricted for being the strong sonic characters we usually know(ex shadow having a block and tackle with dash is a more realized version) which contradicts the entire design phylosophy of TD but it's like jill and lyon not having guns or parried in dead by daylight,gameplay and balance are matters that need to be accounted for.

You know what they say worst abilities less cooldown better abilities longer cool down

Okay the characters and ther costumes along with abilities (NOT GETTING INTO TOO MUCH DETAIL): Tails: His costume is Tails Doll and his abilities hasn't changed. Knuckles: His costume is a mummy and his abilities hasn't changed. Eggman: Obviously his costume is Sonic and his abilities hasn't changed. Amy: Her costume is a vampire and she now has Hammer Bounce instead of Hammer Throw. Cream: I will guess her costume is a Jack-o-lantern I'm not sure but her abilities hasn't changed. Sally: It took me a few rounds but she is supposed to be Pennywise and her abilities hasn't changed. Shadow: His costume is a Devil and instead of Block he has Tackle. Rouge: She is a witch and she has one more ability. She can activate stealth at will and not when her sensors pick up Exe. Your welcome. Any questions I'll explain in the comment section of this comment.

Tbh it’s kinda hard to control on ps4 because whenever I run straight it goes backward for like 4 seconds before your character runs forward. Idk if it’s just me or people have also experienced it

I completely agree with this. Shadows new move is amazing and I love using it, it made me play Shadow more often, he might even be my secondary. And the lunge either has to be back to how it was during the first prototype or removed entirely. I’ve seen several people get carried so hard by it. Also if Sonic can hold his attack, why not Knuckles or Amy?

I actually do play the game on PS5 (that doesn't mean that I always play on it) but yeah, PlayStation 5 is pretty good as long as you have good Wi-Fi

If you don't know, on tails' mobile gilde up is to hold the jump button.

3:42 exe has a costume too, which is like Friday the 13th. If I see a hedgehog with the goalie mask, then I know it's exe, and I gotta run.

For flying as Tails on mobile is SO smooth. All you have to do is press jump button and hold it.

Could we agree with "DreamShakz" That the Lunge Attack Has Got to go.

While I have not played this new update, gotta say this looks hype! Gonna have to try it soon when I can!

Shadow was main before the update, but I still liked to play as him. But now he is much better which is awesome. The dash was nerfed and nerves of steel is no longer a game mechanic but the tackle ability makes up for both.

I honestly love like everything about 1.1 really, but I gotta agree that the lunge needs some changes and it's not perfect at the moment (Which has been somewhat done in 1.102 I guess). Shadow's tackle is definitely a good edition, as it makes him be able to work with his team better, instead of just being a solo character. Although a very small change, I think Eggman having eyes is rather goofy, and his icon kinda seems like he is embarrassed or just asking "What you looking at?", they should have given him red (glowing) and black eyes for his minion form in my opinion, as well as tinting the glasses red. As for the halloween outfits, my favorites are probably Eggman and Cream. Eggman just looks goofy in the Sonic outfit which I like (Although he would look better with the quills), and Cream's outfit looks like something she would actually wear and looks like an actual halloween outfit. And btw, Sally is suppose to be a doll I think. (Stated by AJ) And yeah, Cream.EXE is just something else.

I think lunge is broken bc Outlaik was rushed to finish this. Reasons for my thought: . When it first released, Shadow didn’t have an exe model, and the Sally shield was invisible . It still says that there are bugs/glitches in game . Not much of a reason, but saves aren’t in end game stats . Amy’s hammer bounce was being tweaked on bc sometimes it didn’t work . Lunge hitbox was being changed, but it’s still sorta broken . Shadow’s dash was buffed I think a day or two after release (trust me it sucked) . A new Ban board or smth was added a bit late

@@ItsDrippingout well, the lunge was already implemented in the prototypes, the closest to the current one being the last 1.1 prototype. And Shadow not being able to turn into an EXE was a bug I am pretty sure, and his minion model was already made. And bugs are expected for everything new releasing.

So glad hammer throw is gone but idk if hammer bounce will be equally annoying.

i do agree with the lunge for sonic.exe, it's really annoying when you get hit by him. i heard that it was nerfed from the 1.1 testing, but it still feels a bit too op.

Hey dreamshakz just gonna let you and mobile players know that tails can go up if you touch the jump button but it will take more of your energy resulting in you having to go back down. Hope this helps!

Some crap and stuff you missed: The max health is 50 in hardcore, so if theres minions on the team of the .exes, the ones who never got hit by sonic will have to deal with more damage. this is the survivor's biggest concern if the minion is good at playing as an minion or an exe. healthbar design changed. there is no background to the healthbar icons now and it just looks cooler. eggman's hitbox is either the same or bigger or smaller. eggman is slower, i think. as of right now) Halloween update removed. thats it.

Blueberry is a great, but underrated flavor.

Honestly, I think the lunches is the best because I gotten very good hits on exe if you time it right you can actually hit him and I am pretty good at using knuckles and Amy to hit now, so yeah I think the launches is pretty good to me. I don’t know to you but is to me is so good.

He changed Amy's [7:36] throw to bounce to make all stunners do a single stun only

My ps4 is around the same age as yours but it runs pretty smoothly maybe ya gotta clean it and stuff cus mine might be a year older but I'm not sure

As an owner of a ps4 that is 7 years old as of uploading this comment, the game runs like a charm, but sometimes I have to wait a while for everything to load, maybe I am a little spoiled because i am used to to playing roblox on a laptop with a SSD wich is way faster than the harddrive my ps4 runs on, other than that the game runs good👍

For me shadow exe is the scarest cuz his smile looks bigger his eyes looks creepy with the blood texture

I honestly thought you were gonna add the character nerfs, so here we go.. Amy: Compare hammer bounce to when 1.1 was last reopened to now. Her hammer bounce doesn’t go as high from tall platforms as it used to in an older stage of 1.1 Eggman: His shock hitbox got SIGNIFICANTLY got smaller Rouge: She has a bit of a delay with her slide, which makes it a bit easy to counter. Cream: Her healing range is waaay smaller now Tails: You have to aim a little more up to properly land shots

Ngl the 1.1 update made PlayStation easier due to 1.0 didn’t show PlayStation buttons and just thinks your in Xbox so you have to memorize it (expect for the continue screen for 1.1 it just thinks your on xbox)

Personally, outlaik has made the quick attack REDUNDANT. You can't juke lunge. There is only hitboxes. It is luck based. He has HEAVILY nerfed survivors. Sally doesnt have i-frames anymore (Its like 2 seconds) Knuckles punch animation is just.. bad. Amy is now worse pre-update eggman with better jetpack Eggman's shock's hitbox is now bad in a good way for sonic REMOVED NOS FOR ALL CHARACTERS Made the quick attack and grab hitboxes GARBAGE. Which in turn encourages to spam charge. Knuckles and shadow still tank the same as a 6 year old Rouge is better Shadow can actually do something for the team Tails is slighty better The models look amazing (except sonics size) this is just me rambling about 1.1 but the main thing is to just removed lunge and scale sonic down. i've been playing for around 2-3 years and this is bottom of TD.
