Is this defense effective if the offense runs something else than this 3-Out 2-In ? -With a 2 point guard offense (2-3 High, 2-3 Low), it would be hard for the top defender to put some pressure on the ball. Then overloading the point could create some tactical possibilities. -With a Horn formation, the point and the top of the key will be overloaded by the offense, while the baseline will be the target of backdoor cuts from the wing players on both corners. So the frontcourt could be overloaded quickly if the top and key defenders are beaten. -If the opposing team is accurate enough from deep, any 4-Out 1-In or 5-Out would made it very difficult for this defense. So could this defense deal with other offensive setups and how ?

If you mean to the corners the bottom wing goes out and sends baseline. The rotations remain the same.

What happens if the ball goes from the wing to the strongside corner...? Wide open shot...!
