Marsupilami on the Sega genesis. I have it. It's not very good. I'm glad that I have it. It has gotten expensive. But the sequel on the nintendo switch marsupilami hoob adventure is very good.

The amount knowledge you have for retro games is crazy, Not knowing what arkanoid is, is even crazier! haha

yeah i wanted twilight princess on gamecube but one of the stalls was selling it for i think 200 pound or more which i felt was off price wise

Colony Wars there at around the 55 second mark for 7 quid! Man I forgot all about that game and absolutely loved it back in the day.

I'll have to check out Risky Woods for the MegaDrive as I'm looking to add to my collection. Mate, I had Pain! on the PS3 back in the day. The ragdoll physics were hilarious in that game. I love these retro gaming market videos by the way. Great video as always Gemma

Wow. Super Play, that mag brings back memories. Wasn't Super Megaforce Super Aleste? Anyhoo, I'm starting my retro collection up now as I found my old Snes and games after years so I've got a lot of catching up to do in regards to knowing when these fairs are happening. Great channel 💪🤙👍

Those Super Play mags were my go-to mag of the 90s. The cover art by Will Overton was always spectacular. I still play PAIN from time to time but only own it digital on PS3. One of my fave PS3 games and pretty unique too. Not much else like it out there.

It’s so crazy how huge the price difference is for Corpse Killer. For the Sega CD it goes for $20-$30 complete. Madness

Auto Modellista game looks indeed interesting. Marsupilami rings some bells, I've heard the name, probably cartoon or animated children's tv-series in the 80's, but wasn't into it myself.

I can’t find one in Liverpool. I hope they do have a game in market in Liverpool. That would be amazing at the bank arena. Enjoy thank you for sharing. I was working on that day. 🎮🎮🎮

15:07 GoldenEye 007 for N64 was 1 of my N64 games in late 90s. I remember owning about 8 N64 games and the currency was about 400-600, so my family got 1 N64 game in 6 months. I don't remember all games, but other was Quake 64 and ofcourse we got N64 launch title: Super Mario 64, my 1st console game. My 1st game was Doom for Win 95.

Games master magazine was my go to back in the day. Used to love when magazines had free demo discs with them. Would play them for hours

i lost a bag with a game it at the market lucky enough it was only 5 pound , main thing i was trying to find but couldnt was 2 rare nintendo wii games calling and also the ju-on game , what would everyone say is the best video game market in uk i plan on going to another this year but maybe later in the year, also geb i saw you at the market but didnt want to interupt or annoy you , hope you enjoyed the market but good god that market got far to cramped a few hours in

Gem, great to meet you at the Market! Your videos have entertains me for years now, great stuff 👍 BTW, I picked up crash dummies on the megadrive about 4 times at the console passion stand on my 3 trips round 😂. I couldn't bring myself to buy it in the end, as you said, it looks like a terrible game lol. I had a lengthy conversation with the curly haired guy about smashing the toy car into mom's skirting boards when I was little. Great memories! 😅

@@TheGebs24 no, no, nooo. I picked it up and left it, and went round again, picked it up again, and left it again... I didn't get it in the end! It's still out there! 🤣 I was there when they packed away so I'm sure they still have it! I'm.t sure why I didn't get it, it was either missing manual or it was a bit pricey, maybe it wasn't but as it wasn't on my list, I couldn't commit to it when I had other bits to get. I eas after quite a few bits mega bomberman, and batman games, super star wars on snes, sonic 2 and 3, urban strike, flashback and link to the past on the snes. I ended up with a wicked copy of Sonic 2, mint condition from the guy who was selling all the turtles toys. He only had a few megadrive games, but this sonic 2 is mint. Manual has never been touched. £15 for that was a decent price i thought. I also bought a few 1988 turtles figures for my son to play with while I was there. Also picked up a copy of Brian Lara cricket 😳, don't love cricket myself but had it as a kid and I was obsessed with it for some reason. Mint copy too 👌. I was after link to the past on snes and found a cartridge only version for 35, he offered me 30 for some reason as I left but I decided to keep looking. My famicon version seems to have a glitch in it where link bursts into flames when you free the princess out of the dungeon early on. Then you just walk through walls and there's nothing in any of the rooms.. very odd. Could be because I use a Retron 5 with a language patch. Maybe it doesn't like it. I'll get it on PAL one day... 😀😬 All in all, didn't overspend like a nutter (was tempted) and what I did get was immaculate so I'm happy! Will be going again for sure!

Love these gaming market vids need to go to one sometime.

As a Trader I was in two minds to attend Birmingham as I usually keep to London and the south...I'll be at Oxford on the 20th. Doncaster sounds like it could be fun, I'm well and truly in 2 minds about attending that, the distance is what the barrier is.

Sold a near mint boxed copy of earthbound with scratch and sniff cards all complete for £150 in 2008. Would imagine it would be worth a lot more now!

Do stalls usually take card payments at these or cash only, as i may go to the Doncaster one as i live in part of Doncaster But i never like to take or walk around with alot of money at packed places

This market is awesome i remember that California Games love playing that back then the turtles in time was a beautiful game and case too the Japanese games always look great no damage or anything. Sorry you didn't find PAIN on the PS3 hope you do soon

Arkanoid is a Breakout clone. It was on the Atari ST, among other things. I didn't realise it had made it to the Snes!

bumped into you Gems around 1pm. it was waaay too busy to get a proper look round. Needs a bigger venue as it there was around 300 people in a space fit for half that. Managed to get the metal slug collectors edition book i was after though. Went to the NEC the next day..

@@TheGebs24 I also bought a super gameboy player, spice orange GameCube controller, bomberman (Saturn), lost vikings (SNES), Ribbit King (GameCube), capcom vs SNK (Dreamcast) and Yu Gi Oh (GameCube). As you can tell I went a bit nuts. Missed out on Nam 1975 for the NeoGeo by about 5 mins gutted about that. My wife (the Chinese lady) said she had a pic with you and said you were lovely. What did you get altogether?

@@TheGebs24 main one was global defence force on ps2. I'm a sucker for the earth Defense Force series. Who doesn't love killing giant ants?! LOL its in stock at cex cheaper but ordering online you don't know if there's a manual or not. They had a PAL animal crossing on the gamecube I could've been tempted with. We fell in love with wild world on the DS so trying to go complete on that (just ordered the JAP release for £13!). Others were random American football ones. I'm trying to get a complete series of Madden for the consoles I own, then whatever else nfl related (as well as baseball).

@@TheGebs24 Went to London twice, last time was a few weeks ago. Doncaster last year which was disappointing, I stood next to you for 2 mins there but you were chin wagging so I left you to it. And Milton Keynes about 5 years ago which is local but it only came 1 time. Markets have great vibes but I feel too busy sometimes. And I am ntsc centric so many stalls have nothing for me. I have started on ps3/4 collecting and I do UK pal for that.
