His singing has improved hugely since That's The Spirit and the way he demonstrates it in this EP is amazing, in this song specially he shows how much his singing voice has improved. This collab is one of the best things to come out of this trainwreck of a year
I literally cried the last time I listened to this song, I mean it hits man
This song really hit me in the feels
There should definitely be more collabs like this, where both artists push each other to do better. There are too many collabs these days with the mindset of "we need to use this artist to stay relevant" or "the only way to breakthrough to mainstream is by collaborating with so-and-so"

I am almost sure the next EP will have that heavier version of the "butterflies" metaphor, the song they were recording in previous videos.

Yeah I listened to it and I see it but I definitely don’t at the same time. Music is such an expansive web of melodic flavors and words that you’re bound to cross them with several other songs. It sounds like a stretch to compare the two songs.. like to me someone was so bored to have found and made the comparison of the two songs. But I love them both.

@@haylie6642 dude it's almost note for note the same melody, to the point where when approached about it BMTH went "oops you're right, we must have subconsciously copied it" and agreed to give Evanescence writing credit. I believe them that it was subconsciously and they weren't intentionally copying it, because that happens all the time and is even something I've done myself, but the melody is a blatant rip
I can't get enough of the "AH" after "I let you sink your fang so deep" in 3:26 . Amy Lee is amazing! And so is this whole EP. This song is such a perfect way to end it. So stoked for the rest of Post Human! Idk how they're gonna step it up after this one masterpiece of EP but excited to see it

I get what you mean, and I kinda always die at her first "ah" as well, that sounds almost... cut off? Gasping? At least that's a sound I make when I have to stop a sentence because I damn well am about to burst into tears. And every time Oli starts loud and powerful and then just goes... softer, more vulnerable. They both exceeded any expectations there.
I literally can't believe what a massive journey BMTH went though to go from local metalcore/screamo band to an absolute artists

When they harmonize in the chorus, it just hits so hard.
amy was literally perfect for this song
Butterflies = Audio goosebumps.
oh hell this is fantastic. I love it I just love it
I love how such an important topical issue has been portrayed in such a beautiful song 🦋 Both Oli and Amy's voices go so well together 😍 I'm pleased they were able to sort out the copyright issue amicably, and create this masterpiece as a byproduct!
This was a beauty way to concluded an album... and it's amazing 🧡🧡🧡

Yasss best album of 2020 the best album themed around 2020 this is literally the only relevant album that actually plays on current events in such an artistic way and helps us comes to terms with the madness going on right now. This album was such a good idea and the timing is spot on the execution flawless. The one and only good album no... The one and only good thing to come from this pandemic.
This is the first album from BMTH (and actually, maybe one of the first albums in general) where I truly, truly love every song almost equally. They are just all good. I loved the previous albums but there were always some songs, or some moments that I didn't quite like enough to make the album perfect, but this one is as close to perfect as you get, especially when it comes to this genre.
The most out of the box thing they have ever done. I love this band!
my god, i am so in love with this song. the contrast between their voices, and yet in the same harmony. And the powerful message.... it feels so vulnerable, so 'broken'...if that makes sense. And that ending just...gives me goosebumps everytime. everything is so perfect.
Honestly this song was so beautiful and haunting.
This album is just perfect I thought the days of being amazed by a full album was past specially in this genre Thank you for this
Guys, you really almost saved 2020, I mean, this year is way too shitty to be saved anyway, but you came close, this EP is unbelievably good and something we all can relate to, well done, I truly mean it.

I encourage the fans of both bands (Evanescence and BMTH) to check out their newest work. Both groups are saving 2020, honestly.
This video really moved me...I love how they both loved each others more vulnerable and pulled back voices❤️
I wanna thank them so much for this song because for me it's not only about true lyrics but also about how this song holds the feelings i have when i think about climate change, this whole destruction we do to the planet and how soon we'll probably extinct... they somehow managed to transcribe my emotions into a song - this combination of feeling guilty, being sorry for things we've done but knowing its all too late, also this sense of horror because we wanna live but we can only face death now and there's no turning back.... seriously this is The Song I will take with me forever

I still can’t believe this collaboration has happened. My two favourite singers/bands of the past 10 years just randomly got together and made this beautiful music. This is beyond my dreams come true
You guys fucking killed it with this song and the entire album. Whether it be dealing with yourself and your emotions or being a kingslayer in this fucked up world, you guys get it and hit the mark every time.
My favourite song on the album (I think) Amy sounds incredible in this. She is so beautiful. This whole album and the fact that we get to see the entire creative process behind it is something no band has ever done. Thank you BMTH for making 2020 so much more than what it's been...
I find this song so visual and cinematic. When I listen I can see some blasted dead landscape where some final futile fight is happening. It feels like having a vision of our future. Great song.
Th whole EP is incredible start to finish. It’s rare you can say that these days so congratulations guys, you’ve made me change my all time favourite EP/Album
This song is the purest form of art. I absolutely love it. The end of this video made me so emotional...what a journey was (well, still is) this year and this EP. 💙💙💙
Thank you brother, I helped my first Ecology professor with a Weigh Station project for Monarch Butterflies. We help raise and release over 50 butterflies. This song hit home so deeply. Learning it is about climate change makes me so happy. Thank you. It's very inspiring.
どっちも超大好きだから、嬉しくてちびりそうになった!ハート💕
When I first heard this song all I thought was, "oh wow....this is...this is definitely something. " I had to listen to it on repeat and I still feel like every time I listen there is a nuance there that I didn't catch before. I love this song and this album.
a more adult and mature version of dont go ft lights... after 10 years bmth still give me goosebumps
I know I will remember this song seconds before I die if I am conscious, the lyrics are a poem to nature, thank you bmth for the best EP.
Wow. And here I thought it was about a broken love relationship. But this is so much more deep.
As a long time Evanescence and BMTH fan, this collaboration between them was basically a dream come true. This song is amazing.
This is probably my favourite song of the album, I love absolutely everything but the work and thought put into this one is mind blowing like... I don't even know this is my favourite album of the year and it slowly overcomes Sempiternal which is kind of my bible lmao I just love this band so effing much 🖤
I am so happy to be alive when they are making music. I feel so honored.
I swear Bring Me The Horizon's new songs and videos are the only good thing to come out of 2020 ❤️
I've been repeating to myself, everytime I hear it from the first time I heard it, that this is the perfect album outro of all times. Period.
I heard the song for the first time yesterday and it gave me goosebumps. I didn't even recognize it was bmth so well done on stepping outside your comfort zones - really felt emotional and powerful.
The end of this video, as the song itself, was the perfect way to end this "journey of the album creation".
THAT was so wonderful. Didn't think I could love the song, Amy, Oli, the EP or BMTH any more. Till now! It was almost like a music video for their song. Love IS in the air! ❤️
Best collab ever! Y’all are amazing
I need to hear this entire EP from start to finish live. OMG it's so good! Every song is incredible! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Amy's vocals on this tune are beyond human
And it's beautifully amazing!! I think this is one of my favorites from both of you!

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!🔥
They pushed each other out of their comfort zones so much
Now I see, its a talk between the nature and human beings. The Amy part is the nature talking to men about the things that cannot be resolved anymore (global warming, the ocean pollution) and the things that are happening like disasters, diseases and the exctinctin of many species of animals and plants. The Oli part shows the human who is regret with your actions on the Earth and dont know what he does to help the planet!! I love this song and the meaning that it brings to us!!
i love to watch this videos they're so interesting damn. love you !
I've loved all 3 series !!
I've been waiting forever for this one.
Call me a pessimist, but though his lyrics Oli speaks the truth that politicians, scientists & world leaders are too afraid to tell us. This song is brilliant example of that...
Why I'm crying? :')) I LOVEEEEE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH, IT IS MY BMTH'S FAVORITE EP... I love you guys
Such an amazing album
Definitely one of the TOP songs of the album

I love these behind the scenes clips.
This got me really emotional, not just cos the song is amazing but I didn't really know it was about climate change and when I thought about the lyrics in relation to that it was like... damn.
