Hurricane Hillary causes panic in L.A. with half mile ling gas line snaking around Costco. Long lines at registers as people buy toilet paper, water, bread and milk.

To be honest, that particular Costco looks like that pretty much every weekend.

hahaha, true
Looks like any weekend at Costco to me
Some of those people know how to prepare for a Hurricane; others seem to be buying stuff they will lose when the power goes out.

@@tripplefives1402 Could be true, but don't forget why they are having a hurricane in the first place. It was created by weapons and those same weapons can fire it up stronger any time they want. So, people don't know what will happen.

anyone who thinks hurricanes are man-made or that we have weapons that can cause hurricanes either gives the military industrial complex too much credit or humanity not enough.

Hopefully they have the space to store all those items. Costco will make out big from this impeding storm.
That’s a normal Saturday at our Costco

Exactly. It’s always crowded. It doesn’t look like panic.
all you need is water, flashlights, and some beenie weenies.
Look at them trying to become last minute preppers. You know who's not in those lines? Preppers.

I live day by day because I'm single. I always have a bagged packed. But not prepping with a family is ludicrous

@@theyclosechannelsthatspeak428 Your reasoning about living day by day because you're single doesn't work the same way with most females. We are nesters so bugging in is the plan.
I bought 4 cases of mountain dew and 4 cases of slim jims. I'm ready
Why is it that whenever some major disaster is predicted to happen, all people can think about is how they're going to wipe their ass?

Because even on a normal day, they can barely manage it
Here's an idea, let's wait until the last minute. 😢
Here we go again with another rush on stores and empty shelf panic. Don't forget that tp.
If they were properly prepped they wouldn’t need to go to Costco at all.

I know you prepper nuts like to pat yourselves on the back while organizing your expired popcorn and Campbell's soup, but anyone with a bit of common sense knows this will be nothing more than a rainstorm. The people you see here have probably paid too much attention to the news and have been scared into this or are just trying to get their shopping done because they know they won't be able to go out for a few days.
These folks were warned of this storm several days ago
The masses are panicking again 😂
necessary, water, tp, gas, candles, life vests, canned goods
@Mistland

canned goods after Andrew was essential it was the only thing that felt normal afterwards.
Lol this is a city where if a drop of rain hits the pavement and it’s 70 degrees, they are outside with ski jackets and Ugg boots!

Widespread hype and panic always makes for the need for beer and snacks
Aha...the IMFAMOUS TOILET PAPER BUYING...😂😂😂...
That’s how it looks every time I go to Costco
LA is expected to just get some rain. I guess you can’t blame them for freaking out, it’s an unusual event for them.
Prayers for those that will be affected by hurricane hilary, aswell as those in Maui and Canada... much love from London UK 🇬🇧 🙏 ❤ 🕊
One little old man exits store with one 12 or 24? Pack of water in his cart and that's it. That's the guy I worry about. Maybe he is on a tight budget. I hope he has food at home.
Lol look at the people buying toilet paper
Looks like my Costco on a regular weekend.
Don't go in the ocean for 2 weeks at least after this storm.
Average weekend crowd at Costco in Ventura.
Funny. A typical weather day anywhere else, and really not much different than a typical winter storm system for the SoCal area, and people freak the heck out. It's interesting weather for the area simply due to the origin of the storm, but it's not going to affect them like a tropical storm would if it were landing on the shores of the Gulf or East coasts. Just offshore breezes and rain for the cities, but lets grab a ton of toilet paper and panic.

That is why you should always be prepared
Looks like a normal day at Costco to me.
What news media does just make people panic for little rain 😂

I don't think I've ever heard of a hurricane hitting California. This seems so strange, but there it is.

It wasnt a hurricane
You can’t wait until the last minute.
Fueling up isn’t a bad idea. I remember the shortages caused by hurricane Harvey mainly caused by panic buying. Just supplies for up to a week ought to do it, basically just a good weekly shopping trip
looks like regular day at Costco
It's gonna be some flooding and wind, nothing too crazy...but, better safe than sorry.
Bless all of you , be safe
Wow!
Oh No !
The guy leaving the store with cake near the end😆 Sorry , that's just my nervous laughter.
I dont get why people do this. Buy up a shit ton of toilet paper like youre gonna be stuck in your house for weeks, eating and shitting in a watery home. lol
Oh no…this is bad…
I notice a lot of it is junk food and a good portion are perishables. . How are you gonna cook if you have an electric stove if the power goes out? It's probably best to stalk up on canned protein products too just in case the power does cut out.
Nothing says, "BUY BUY BUY" like FEAR, FEAR, FEAR...hahahahahaha....and you all fall for it every time....little humans running around.....
How is this different than normal?
It never was a "hurricane"...it can't happen the water isn't hot enough there.
I've never had one of these memberships as a single person. However I went with a family once and we had those hot dogs. 🌭 . Delicious!!!
why the 50 packs of tp ..
I like the old man at1:46 walking out with a giant pie in his cart 😋
You Don't need to go to that Extreame if you have the Lord in your life everyone scared that's because they have not turn to the Lord God is our protector if he wants us to go then we can do nothing about it
Sheep
Where is the panic? That Saturday Costco, click bait.
Ridiculous 🐑
Lemme tell you, these stores are loving this. You guys are being stupid buying all of this lmao
*????Costco Sells Syringes????*
Hum, saw a lot of people, just didn't see the kaos 😊❤
Do Natural Disasters Help Bring People Together? We see people coming together and helping each other out more during crises. Nature sends such situations precisely in order for us to wake up to our connection, and to the idea that we need to consider the benefit of others as our own benefit. Nature is a live system. It is round, connected from beginning to end and vice versa. In other words, it is an integral system, which is in a constant reciprocal connection. When we change our attitudes to each other, we accordingly change the way the system of nature relates to us. If we relate positively to each other, we then feel nature’s influence on us as harmonious and peaceful. In other words, nature influences us the way we influence it through our attitudes to each other. Therefore, when we change our attitudes to nature on the human or social level, even though nature seemingly influences us on the biological level, then our response on the human or social level influences the entire system of nature. The way we then feel nature on the biological level also changes to one that feels harmonious and peaceful.
Wheeee!
Guess you have to understand they haven’t done this before. Not gonna be much, folks.

That's what I'm saying. Living on the gulf coast I ride out hurricanes up to a cat 3 all the time. But these people have never had a storm like this hit so I can't say anything bad.
