Hello Max, thank you for this video it was extremely helpful. I have a 2002 Audi Quattro A6 2.7L Bi turbo of which I will perform the same type of maintenance. Hi, my 2007 audi a4 quattro 2.0L turbo stalls at red light. The chain tensioner broke. I replaced with new one. Now cylinders 1 &3 have 150psi, cylinders 2 &4 only has 90psi. Car starts and runs but very shaky. What parts do you think i need and do you have them? Thanks

You can either put the injectors in first and then attach the manifold or put the manifold and injectors in as one unit

Got it. For those of you doing it for the 1st time, once you line the intake back up and the injectors, you need to tap it in with a dead blow hammer. I'm used to regular fuel injectors. The direct injection clearly is a snuger fit

This engine has direct injection. The fuel quality has nothing to do with carbon build up at the intake valves. The fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber, not behind the intake valves like the older 1.8t 20 valve engines. This isn't just an Audi/VW problem. Many cars with direct injection... toyota, BMW, etc, develop carbon build up because there isn't gasoline being sprayed at the intake valves to wash it off like older cars. The carbon at the intake valves comes from oil blow-by the piston rings, leaking PCV system (which is super common on these cars), or a valve cover/oil separator internal crack allowing oil to get sucked into the PCV system. Open up the hoses at the bottom of the intercoolers, and you'll see how much oil there is in there to get sucked into the intake manifold. All of the best quality gasoline and injector/intake cleaners and oil changes in the world won't keep this from happening.
