thanks bud, ive been hesitant to dive into tearing mine apart but having not enough time is not an excuseanymore so i will be buying one for my E50TLCEC and give it a go, starts up fine first turn but lost trim. thinking something got hot and burnt it. wires touching i suppose like last season. need better marine grade wire this way.

I unfortunately opted to take it to a local hydraulic shop. I was pressed for time and busy and work and they ended up having issues so it has a bit of bypass. It has a slow bleed because of that so I'd recommend purchasing the kit and attempting it yourself if you have the tools/skillset.

Hopefully the 30 hp is the same scenario. I’d like to take mine off even though it works. It’s starting to get surface rust on it. I’d like to just brush it off and then paint it with rust oleum.

I can't show this to my grandsons with all the filthy language. Maybe you should make rap videos.

If your grandson took part in a public school education, he has heard worse. You are right, though. I'll try to clean it up ma'am it's just difficult after smashing fingers and frustration.

That's not a 06 it's an 05 model the 06 top pin removal is diffrent

It says 06 right on the serial bud.

Didn't your math teacher tell you you need to show your work? This video is the same. It would be a lot more helpful if you showed the work instead of just explaining after your done.
