Fixing the road would take a day or two I would think. Considering the struggles thus far I don't understand why it hasn't been fixed. Perhaps you can explain it as it makes not much sense.

The driveway needs more stones for now. The van has no traction. That's why the wheels are spinning. If you have ever been off roading you would know what I mean. Australia has some areas where off roading is popular and you get to know what to do.

Fantastico! The Piano is perfect! Is there nothing you and you Dad cannot do? "We love to boogie...boogie, boogie, boogie!" I have been binge-watching on catch-up. I love this project, your work ethic, sense of adventure and vision for this amazing villa. Best regards from England .

Ideas to stay warm while still without heating in the house: Always wear thermal underwear, and layering on top. Cover the head (looses asthonishingly the most heat). When sleeping: use warm water bottles. And sleeping right on top of a woolen topcover (my latest discovery). THat is so soft and comfortable... you won't get cold! Good luck. And I love the piano!!! Well done!

Because Pacific-Gas-&-Electric (aka, PG&E) is so expensive in Central California (near Modesto), wearing cotton hiking socks, thick large wool gloves, and a nite-cap under a cozy velour hoodie is a must for sleep wear in addition to the thick thermals, and a blanket shirt & pants over my heavy blue sweat shirt & pants allows me a reduced reliance on the utility company. All of these layers of fabrics under a quilt of blankets provide a warm sleep thru the night in my bungalow . . . and i save a hundred bucks each month of winter which is better spent on groceries.

Wow! that was so scary to watch! When it started to roll back, OMG. I am impressed that little pinky could hold all that weight! Good job guys. Your father is a man of many talents, enjoyed the piano playing.

Ingenuity is a fine thing...as long as your back muscles hold out! Lol! The only time I've ever seen a more awkward delivery of a piano was my mother's piano into her newly built home. The delivery arrived in the evening, in the dark, and the delivery men wouldn't attempt it in the dark and left it in the driveway! My sister's boyfriend and two of his friends had to shift it into the house! It hasn't moved more than six feet ever since in 31 years! You have worked hard. You and your Dad deserve a beer...or two!

No wonder the van was so heavy it had a baby grand piano inside!!!

Hi Sam, Great video as always, I was so hoping you got the van up the drive. Please be careful with your back, all that heavy lifting, pulling and pushing. I had a a job heavy lifting when I was younger and even though I’m only 41 years young now lol, I certainly wish I’d taken more care. The piano is amazing going to look great and I’m sure you’ll have many great times with it. Your dad is a superstar, I’m sure you’ll owe him a well deserved beer after that. Take care😊

Hi Sam and Hi Dad, The wood on the baby grand piano is absolutely beautiful. and can't wait to hear you playing more, it's certainly a great addition to the Vila, (I can just imagine back in the day when the Vila was first built and the people who would have lived there would have had a piano of some description, and I can just close my eyes and picture the summer and someone sat in front of the window with shutters wide open and all you would have heard is the bells ringing from the church and hearing somebody playing the piano 🫶.

figured the weight was on the lower side and therefore on the front now, with front wheel drive, I guess this was the best option with the most traction. Thanks Hedi!

@Villa_Oliva beter toch voorwaarts rijden en dan in zijn 1 of 2e versnelling. het is een diesel dus die zijn sterk genoeg.. netzo als je vast zit in de sneeuw of in sneeuw weg wil rijden altijd in zijn 2 dan heb je minder wielspin.

You need a remote-controlled car winch. Fix it on the top of the hill and attach it to the wheelbarrow, then you can lift the loads yourself. There will be a lot of cargo.😅

I see two very strong---determined guys! with engineering skills/ So happy for the grand piano; after 40 years I gave mine away, because I moved into a small house and there was no room.

Fantastic teamwork! The piano is fabulous!

The grand piano is beautiful and the grain of the wood I just love anything made of wood also to touch. I'm absolutely amazed that thing didn't go tumbling down the hill. I kept thinking about the Pink Panther movie where he knocked the piano off the upper floor. the woman says that was a priceless Steinway, and he replies " Not any more" hahahaDont Don't lay no boggy woggy on the King of rock and roll.
