Had a 03 aerio that I bought new. Loved it. Got 30 mpg. Commuted 42 miles one way to work for years. Never gave me trouble . A dope smoking hippy ran into me, or I'd never have sold it.

@brenspin, yea $800 good grief, I've seen some small vehicles people still trying to sell above $3,000 with 200,000+ miles and not in this decent of shape inside/out. The engine compartment on this one is clean and the undercarriage is in good shape for a near 20 yr old car.

Around 2004/2005 I bought a lightly used 2004 Suzuki Aerio SX AWD automatic with around 10K miles. (SX signifies the wagon body rather than the sedan.) In a few years I put about 55K miles on it before trading it in. It was the first vehicle I owned with a higher seating position and was nicely roomy for a small car -- loved those aspects. I rather liked the car, but my biggest complaint was fuel economy. Despite the automatic AWD model being rated 24 city / 29 highway, I consistently got a mere 21/22 mpg even on the highway which is pretty poor for a small car regardless of having AWD and the 'large' 2.3 liter/155 hp engine it had. The AWD seemed to really hurt economy and I suppose the 4 speed automatic didn't have the efficiency that a Honda or Toyota transmission would've had....

Suzuki Aerio or Liana is a highly underrated car. I have driven mine for 240K Kms from new.

FYI here’s a suggestion a before picture of the Suzuki and you snap your finger and says “Magic Mike nails it again “ and bam the reveal of the newly finished with all the repairs done Suzuki and cameos of definitely Hoovie shouting Holy Moly and Car Wizard opening his hand with a tiny wrench like in Kung fu and you go to snatch the wrench he opens his hand it’s gone you open your hand you have it and he says “ Your are truly worthy of having my magic Wrench”. Just a thought. Then Wizard can use that as a flashback in one of his videos.

I bought my 06 AWD SX for 500 with only 136k because it had a bad driveshaft, got one from eBay for 50 bucks with shipping and it drives like a champ! So far I've only replaced the radiator, water pump, drive belt, spark plugs and front and rear brakes that was about another 500 which is in my opinion a great investment! Did an a 500 mile drive with it not too long ago and it did great! Compression on all cylinders are at around 145-150!

It's a solid vehicle for reliable A to B transportation. The manual gearbox is an added bonus

Nice video your format is good don’t feel funny if your format is similar to Car Wizard. That’s to be expected. He’s the Car Wizard, your Magic Mike i would expect the format to be similar. OMG! I would pay $800 all day long for that car. As a 07 taurus driver as my commuter car with 176K at this time and drive 40+ miles each way to work, I would love to find something to deliver over 30MPG (especially in California where gas prices are over $6/Gal) I did sub based on the Wizards recommendation!

I seen a Suzuki car similar to this one, it was a 5 speed, I'd imagine the gas mileage is incredible. I think you got a excellent deal, 👌

Back in the 1980s I had a Suzuki car, model called Suzuki Hatch. It was a tiny two seat van. It was available with a choice of two engine sizes, I had the big block 800 cc three cylinder and it was surprisingly quick. I was a great little car, almost impossible to kill and it cost me under AU$5k new which was probably under US$3k. Sold it to a friend around 1990 for AU$500 with around half a million km on it.

I just love Suzukis. They are fantastic cars (except the rebadged Daewoos). I had a 6MT Kizashi and I regret selling

I have exact same issue with my boot door release handle. Gunna clean it on my next visit to the car because its currently stored on my dads yard, i have covid at the moment so going to have to be next weekend. It has a tire wear issue with all 4 tires. So i got to look into that, i stopped the shaking at 60mph by making an homemade front wheel laser alighnment and using maths now it drives very stable even at 100mph. I think the rears were wearing down one side i cant quite remember.

it's cool you got a signature intro, when you get more popular I'm sure it will become a thing

This is unkown Suzuki model to me, but current having Suzuki Grand Vitara which I'm pretty pleased with. It's quite tractor like, but has continous 4WD and low gears.

Well, Mr. Mike, I personally think that this Suzuki sedan is worth driving and keeping. Along with as many new parts to I stall from Suzuki Motors of Japan, this hatchback should last more than 400,000 miles. Lastly, I hope your Aerio SX is more than a point A to point B car. Take it on big trips across America.

So here in Germany we have inspection every 2 years.. basically any car that passes i.e. legally runs and drives is worth around 800 - 1000 bucks.

I have one with 277k runs drive perfectly

I worked for Suzuki here in the UK,we didn't sell many of those Liana's as we called them here.38PSI is way too much btw.
