    According to RERA guidelines flats needs to sold out on Carpet area basis not on Super builtup area,even no one can do advertisement with super builtup area tag..Am I correct?

    Yes correct!! Rule was already in place but in recent months RERA got much stricter and had asked every builder to abide by the RERA guidelines. Thank you

    @@TeamAmanChawla but most of them are not following RERA guidelines & selling flats on super builtup area.Buyers needs to know only about carpet area and builders flat costing brochure shows in terms of saleable area just to look it cheaper but customer gets only around 60-65% of net usable area.

"Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HARERA) comprising of Justice Ashok Sangwan (Member) orders builder to refund the amount with interest to the complainant and holds him liable for wrongly calculating the total price of the unit based on its super built-up area instead of its carpet area."
