I love that you seem to be reading to intentionally find out about the world and people who are NOT like you. I find that admirable. (edit: I am a librarian, so thank you also for supporting libraries.)

Great to hear someone talk intelligently about books and who reads. There aren’t many of us readers left! It doesn’t matter that we don’t always have the same taste. Keep the hair short! Now only is it super functional but it really suits you too. This is not given to everyone. Maybe you could upgrade the clippers to give you a cleaner cut.

I personally enjoy the book talk and am here for it! But might be worth considering whether some newer people to your channel might appreciate shorter in/out videos separate from book talk videos. I haven't seen a lot of in/out videos in the minimalism space - this idea is likely interesting to lots of people, including non-readers. I also reckon a yearly in/out video where you number all the things over the months would be cool and very appealing to people!

If you haven't already read Rest is Resistance by Tricia Hersey it is great. It is a manifesto about (all people but especially black people) resting as resistance against capitalism and white supremacy. Seems like some topics you are interested in. Great video!

I love to read, so “book talk” is always appreciated. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I have been reading a lot of non-fiction lately as well. I try to read diversely, but tend to skew more toward female authors. I always enjoy your in and out videos, thanks for sharing.

Hi Lia. It's nice to see you reading so many books. I always plan to read but never get around to it because of all my personal obligations, including spending time on KZread at night. 🙃🤔❤

Hi, Lia! I also like to wear my clothes until they are holey. Maybe you can make the tank top into rags? I, too, want to start taking more photos, but just using my phone to document day-to-day life. Your purchases are well-thought out. I like how diverse you are in your reading! A great way to expand your mind and learn about world issues in a sustainable way...I also like my library's online service where I can check out ebooks and audiobooks, but there's also nothing like holding a physical book! Glad you are enjoying your photography hobby! 😊

I think it would be nice if you talked about your top favorite reads for the month, even if they aren't something I can read. I don't count my borrows as ins or out and it seems like you have "borrowed" books in practice

I also use the public bookshelf as a library. Books I owned for a while (read twice or wanted to keep for a while and put them in my shelf) and then decided I didn't need anymore, those I consider "owned" and "decluttered". But the ones I take, read, and bring back (they never see my shelf, they go right back into my bookbag), I consider "borrowed".

Yes, that is exactly how I feel! And I always take them thinking I am borrowing them and in 1% of cases I want to keep them a bit longer and read the book again 😊

What has made the difference to you reading so much more now? You mentioned finishing some K-dramas last(?) month, but youre still storming through books!

To me, if a picture out of a series isn't good when you take it, its not going to be good when you look back on it later. You have to trust yourself to have taste right now /and/ to develope it by making descisions about your photos. And! If you go through once a month or so and cull out all the "bad" photos, then it won't turn into an insane project later down the line.

That is what I usually do! But actually I do sometimes go back and declutter again because with some distance, pictures that were not 100% great before seem even less meaninglful, exactly as you say, never really the other way around 😊
