I just got a used RX350 and it could use a dash. This is great!

I gotta say that the big gaping opening for the airbag and the cracks that are still there kills this for me. Probably something you don't notice as much in person, but makes this not worth it. I am looking at the coverlay one for a lot more money or biting the bullet and doing a full new dash.

I’m split on this too. But it’s definitely for your passengers safety.

Just got mine. I am in Tampa. Waiting for cold spell to break before install.

I read somewhere that for the North American market Toyota/Lexus went with a 'green' plastic composition designed to break down in landfills in some of their models. Not sure why but possibly to fulfil some government legislation requirement? I live in Asia with a hot tropical humid climate and the problem is unheard of here. The dash still looks like new in my 2008 RX350.

What stereo did you purchase for your RX? Looks clean and I'm sure adds much needed updating to the car.

The dash issue sucks but I threw a dash cover over mine that i ordered from Amazon and called it a day

So there is no cover (or option for a cover) for where the passenger airbag goes? Could make it a softer material. That looks terrible with the hole there. I got a real Coverlay for my 2004 GX470 3 years ago and love it. I also got a nice suede looking dash cover from Dash Designs to lay over it to not have to see that ugly cutout. Mine has the plastic cover over the hole. To me either way looks terrible but the Dash Designs suede cover on top makes it even nicer. and only about $50 more. Doing the same for my daughter's 2008 RX350. Cheers!

not all RX models have that speaker,, but DashSkin has an option to include it when purchasing.

Dp you ship overseas to Europe? If yes, any contact details. Please? Thanks.

I guess I need to cut out for the speaker

They have an option if you have a center speaker. Pre-cut, and it's the same price. Some car has it some doesn't, my 09 rx 350 does not.
