You know what I like, Alpha hated Caboose. Could not stand him, once the Alpha was destroyed, Caboose took care of Epsilon, tried to build him a new body and told him stories. So Epsilon actually did like Caboose. It was nice to see Church being caring to Caboose. "Don't let Tucker help, he'll just fuck it up. Bye buddy"

huh i just realized that, the epsilons memory of what happened before the events of season 7 was all told from caboose's point of view which was a very messed up one, thus when told other wise by tucker, tuckers didn't sound right since again caboose had fucked up the real story thus making tucker the one making up shit. now i actually understand that

There's been so many people who think that RWBY songs are more fitting to listen to after the announcement of RT's closure. As someone who has watched RT content on and off over the years, this song is probably the one that feels more fitting to listen to.

I just want to point out that, on top of the crimes he committed by tampering with an AI, the Director is also responsible for a lot of murders. If you think about it, none of the simulation troopers were really military personnel, so they were actually civilians. And the Director had them fight and kill each other, as well as making the Freelancers fight and kill them for practice. So, that's multiple counts of homicide right there.

I always picture this song as being from the mental viewpoint of the Director "I keep a picture of you" - he will always remember Alison "But I don't know just what I'd do if I saw you face to face right now" - He knows what he's done is wrong, and would find it hard to look her in the eyes if he successfully brought her back "You know I've always loved you"- self explanatory "If I could stop myself I would, but there's no easy way to change what is real nor to change what is real"- His own love for his wife would not allows him to stop even if he knows he should "Though we try to fade to black, in the end we come right back" - He tries to move on, and yet always returns to her "Now that we've come so far, how can we ever start again?" - He has invested his own life and soul into her, how can he move on? "Memories will lead us back, instead we just pretend" - his memories of her drive him, he spends life pretending he can return to that happiness "The love that never ends keeps us, holds us, always tearing us apart- again" - his love consumes him, tears him apart. I dunno if that's the intended meaning, but damn is it sad :/

Miles had said in an interview with afterbuzz TV that if it were up to him we would never see the fight. But it makes sense why they don't want to show it if they did it would ruin the whole point of epsilon's speech about heroes not getting to know if there sacrifice meant anything.

Damn...I watched the whole series, started last Thursday and finished last night. Such a freaking amazing show, can't believe it took me this long to watch it. The evolution of the show is incredible, turning from a comedy to an action comedy with an amazing plot, very dark moments, and ultimately an amazing conclusion. I can't wait for season 14, though I don't think it'll continue off where 13 finished, since it ended so well, but I'll be ready for whatever it is.

Dude--if it means anything, I've got nearly the same story. I started watching the show back in April, since I was looking for something to hold me over for the next volume and Chibi version of RWBY. (Yeah, I kinda worked backwards, going RWBY first, then RvB) I'll be honest, at first I was bored by it--the Blood Gulch Chronicles were funny, but nothing big happened in them until the third season--and even then it just kinda looped back to normal until Season 5. Still, a friend of mine convinced me to keep going, because it would get "really good soon," and holy crap. I picked it back up about two weeks ago, and flew from Season 5 to 10 in that time. I'm not finished catching up, in fact, the fact that I just finished the amazing-ness that was Season 10 is why I'm at this video in the first place, but you hit the nail on the head. The evolution of this show's story and characters is incredible, and I love that it's still going, because dammit, this (and RWBY) is like my favorite show now. The only show that succeeded in bringing me to tears with this season, and for that...I respectfully say, goddammit.

I wasn't really referring to the animation. Season 10 tied together countless plot points and was filled with amazing story. Season 11, while a very solid season of RvB, simply could not have lived up to Season 10. I am not saying that 11 was bad by any stretch, it just wasn't as good as it's predecessor.

ColonelAftershock I like to think that Season 11 was a new starting point for RvB. Burnie finished with season 10 and now Miles is taking over for S11 & S12. Animation is coming back for S12, but it's going to be used very similar to how Monty used it in S8. Where he combined machinima with animation. I'm excited.

Well they tend to have an action packed season then a cooldown season between. Likely so they can spend time making the next actiony one.

I really feel like this was "the end" of rvb, in terms of the "story" of it, not that I think it should end I loved the Chorus trilogy and season 15 was a lot of fun but I really think that season 10 was the best it will ever be at least for a while and that people should really stop comparing them because everything since is completely new territory, we should just enjoy it for what it is and just love that it`s rvb b/c before the recollection it wasn`t about story or motion capture action it was about two teams of idiots in a boxed-in-canyon that just stand there and talk, that's all they do, that's ALL THEY EVER DO, they just stand there and talk

Coming back to this puts me at ease, watched this during a few different points

ya know listening to this song again in 2022 is kinda symbolic of the current state of the show with fan hating and loving the new seasons and people remembering the good old times when it just the reds and blues doing nothing but stand around talking instead of over the top action

Whenever I hear this song, I always feel proud of the Blood Gulch crew. I mean. look at what they've done. Beat multiple freelancers (Wyoming and Tex), Finished what Freelancer couldn't (Kill the resistance leader), beat the Meta twice, and found the Director. They've stopped a civil war, then beat two highly trained mercs, and took on Hargrove himself by taking the fight to his ship!

I think we should have season 14 in Halo 2 Anniversary, that way we can have Jr, Sister, and Blood Gulch. That and the idea of trying to make Red Vs. Blue in Halo 5 kinda seems a bit of reach given 343 fucked up the lowering weapon animation and they also fucked up by removing split screen.

I love this song so much. Not only is the tune amazing, but so are the lyrics, that Japanese part, and also how most people who have left something/someone behind could potentially relate to. I just, this is one of my favourite songs ever, of all time.

In my opinion, I don't think Maine/The Meta is dead, if you think about it, in that scene he was pulled off by a warthog (However it is spelt) and in the background of the scene, it was a frozen lake, so I'm pretty sure he is just Frozen in a lake. That's my opinion, plus Wyoming, well he was just annoying with his 'Knock, knock' jokes.

Laezur Inc. If you're a sponsor on the RT site, you can watch a Video Log of Locus... The guy is textbook Maine. While all the other Video Logs had voices of those who logged it, Locus' one was written words, and it hinted at that people fear his presence, that Wash has a deep hatred for him and that he wonders if he could've been a Freelancer. Seriously, I think Locus is actually the Meta, brought back in a "Robocop" kind of way, with a working Voice Box 'n' all. I mean, come on! Grif specifically told the story of how they defeated The Meta to the troops, that stuff has to hint to something!

Laezur Inc. Well, the thing is, Burnie didn't write Season 11 and 12, Miles Luna is the writer for that. However, people like to point out that Miles doesn't bring back characters from the dead so... It might not be Maine... So, Locus is probably just Meta 2.0 or something like that.

Did not expect that but it was still forever amazing

My favorite season. God this show is the best.

wolfclaw719 It's actually just the first verse repeated in Japanese.

Kinda wish they'd gotten a fluent Japanese vocalist(s) to sing that Japanese portion. It's cool, but it's clear they don't entirely know how to pronounce everything. That's just me nitpicking though. Still an amazing song.
