Mine also came with the side bumper brackets ( I honestly do not know if that’s still included or not they’re typically $30-40) In my opinion the 99-01 Cobra bumper is way cooler in design and not on alot of mustangs like the 03-04 one is, either way man have fun and enjoy!

Okay I’ve now done two of these bumper swaps. My 2003 V6 has a different hood than my 2002 GT. I have to drill holes for my 2003 to fit but my 2002 fit just fine

The hood design on the v6 models must be slightly bulkier, I haven’t heard anything like that till now so good to know but yeah the GT hood fits good, people say you “need cobra fenders” but even if it’s slightly Un aligned you can’t tell till up close and it doesn’t bother me lol. The sidebrackets came with the cobra bumper i boucht off LMR.com . You can find them there or american muscle carries them too I believe!

Thank you for the support and welcome to the channel! I used the rivets supplied with the hardware kit, heres the link. lmr.com/item/LRS-8190HDWK/1994-04-Mustang-Front-Bumper-Cover-Hardware-Kit !! Hope this helps. If not any rivets from a hardware store that can fit through the brackets holes will work!

What size rivets did u use?

Does the hood and all line up properly? Or is it better to buy a cobra hood and fenders as well

I never had any issue with my hood lining up properly. May be slightly off but nothing noticeable if you take your time

Prolly the most detail on the installation of a cobra bumper on KZread but I do have a question, the rivet you use on the bracket are those the ones included with the kit?

Thank you thats good to hear!! And yeah the kit came with rivets and I used them. You could use other rivets though just fit them through and if they fit through then they’ll do the job!

I wish I knew how to paint, fortunately for me my buddy hooked me up and painted it for the low. I’m not sure how bodyshops would charge but id estimate $350-700 depending shop to shop.

Heres what it costed me, 03-04 Cobra Bumper $249.99, Ford bezel & fog light kit [everything you need] $149.95 I bought those two off LMR. The brackets came with my bumper. So around $399.94 and not including Tax and shipping varying! hope this helps.

All the mounting spots are the same for that bumper as well so yes in theory it should be the same process!

Bumper or bumper cover will work. This is universal to other bumper covers so yes.

Splicing and connecting the wires is pretty easy

You can drill out the old rivets and rivet new ones in if the brackets still in good condition! So yes

Mine came with the bumper but I say on LMR they were anywhere from like 35-50 a piece? I couldn’t imagine them being 200-400 though thats crazy

Can I cut the original grill Bessel ? Use the same one ? I have the Mach 1 delete ?

The bumper indeed will line up fine, good as stock honestly.. however the hood may not line up properly. It may hang over, or not line up right. My hood kind of leans over, its not noticeable till up close. And about the fog lights video I will be having a led video out soon , could make a one specific for fog lights too. Sorry for the late response

You could use the stock brackets off any 99-04, you’d just have to drill out the previous rivets and put new ones in!

@@Thatlowdsg 1 question is there any problems with the stock hood I've heard before that the oem hood will smash the top of the cobra bumper and I didn't see that in your video you may have said it but I have to have the video turned down because I'm currently at work 😅

It will not smash it, the oem hood doesn’t line up 100% of the way, but on my car I noticed it was unnoticeable untill you really good close and look. But it will not damage the bumper or hood. Have been driving it just fine with no damage to either!

Yeah i bought spare ford oem brackets cause I didn’t know mine was coming with brackets too, but yeah the fenders and everything lined up for me man
