I have the exact same 024 WB 1987., and it also had a small curved pipe inside front of the muffler to restrict it even more. Now she's a little beast.

wow... now that is a wide range of mufflers... nice video... i love the 026 platform but they ran about 37 different variations so you never know what you are gonna get lol

I know. Plus I been buying fixer saws and who knows what parts have been swapped before I got them.

What muffler would you recommend for an 026? Mine currently has the square baffle in so i will definitely be milling it out like you said 👍🏻

milling it open is plenty of flow. Egan Performance makes the Straight Shot muffler front for the 024/026/260

Did you ever add a West Coast Universal Power Port? I have an MS 260 I'm looking at adding one but not sure if anyone has had success with it. Thanks!
