While most of the attention today has been on Norman, Oklahoma after a powerful tornado swept through the area causing significant damage to the city. A second, and even more powerful tornado touched down further West in Cheyenne unfortunately claiming the life of 1 individual as their home was thrown 100+ yards away into a field. This tornado was so strong it also toppled a major radio tower, threw multiple other houses off their foundation, debarked some trees, and threw heavy machinery multiple yards away from their original location
You can see signs of ground scouring as the powerful tornado tore through the open fields and at other locations full size truck and semis were tossed like toys (some upwards of 50) while other homes were completely destroyed or severely damaged and residents remain lay scattered all over the area.
School was cancelled today, and instead of students enjoying their day off the community came together to help the clean up process Leisha Carlson tells Aaron Rigsby.

That's why they tell people living in trailer homes to GET OUT to a SOLID building or shelter. They are nothing but giant kites. 75 mph straight line winds will roll a mobile home. Sad people think when they say get to an interior room or bathroom they are including trailers.. They mean Solid built homes on a foundation bolted down into the ground. Even tied down trailers aren't safe in huge winds.

Never seen so many tornadoes in my life as I did when stationed at Fort Sill Oklahoma back in 97-98'. Was a day when we were told to stand at attention outside because of a mistake someone made in the laundry room mixing chemicals ALL during a terrible storm where multiple tornadoes formed and touched down. In the months I was there I personally saw over 13 tornadoes and immediately realized I could NEVER live in a place like that.

EF 1 will roll a trailer home. The fact they sit up off the ground where high winds can get underneath is enough to send them flying. They are not constructed the same as a stick built home that's bolted down to a concrete foundation. The boards and framing aren't as thick in a mobile home either because they'd be to heavy to move with a truck

Judging by the fact that the ground was scoured, a house was ripped from its foundation, the radio tower was toppled, I’d say at least high end EF3 or possibly EF4
