Gajendra Moksham is a story from Bhagavatam, which revolves around an egoistic mighty elephant which gets caught by a crocodile. In order to escape from the clutches of the crocodile, it prays God, who in-turn come and save him. Gajendra Moksham Was originally written by Harikatha Pitamaha Sri Adibhatla Narayana Das based on the Telugu translated version of the Bhagavatam by Potanna. This Harikatha is the most popular stories among all the Harikathas Programs performed by Sri Veeragandham. Although many artists who tell Gajendra Moksham as Harikatha, it was told that no one can better tell the story of Gajendra Moksham, than Sri Veeragandham. Like Sri Ghantasala is famous for Bhagavad Geetha Audio, Sri Veeragandham is famous for his Gajendra Mokshanam Harikatha. It is also his most favourite Harikathas of Veeragandham.
