The oil pressure gauge was on 80 because the sending unit was bad. That's what the video is about. LOL

Great job. Only thing is you forgot to mention the rubber and plastic piece you need from old unit. But all in all damn good video and now a subscriber..

Thanks this is really helpful on my wife’s Tahoe.. What about a trans temp gauge that doesn’t work on a 2003 Tahoe z71

I haven't had to do a Trans temp gauge repair so I really don't have any information about it. I would have to diagnose it in person.

That's the equivalent of having an artery sliced

Just got yourself a new subscriber too 😁 I've been watching and just seen your video for 1st time this has been a nightmare for me I just changed it out Friday and cannot get my truck to start again all I removed was the cover on top I'm 6'2 and have big hands and banana fingers I got it out replaced but I did not disconnect my negative terminal I am going to make sure I didn't disconnect my cam sensor by accident it's next to it as well and gonna check fuses too just in case I shorted something out by accident it 21° right now no car port just parked outside any suggestions or input what else might have gone wrong it cranks won't start that's it thanks for your input

I would check everything in that area and make sure everything is plugged in. I have not had that problem with oil pressure sending units but anything is possible with automobiles.

Wish I had an answer for you but with out checking it over I couldn't know for sure. You can check for fuel at the test port at the fuel rail to make sure the pump is working. @@chatobalencian1504

@@HotRodDave I will keep that in mind brother that's that little hard line on passenger side that looks like a shredder valve to put air just bigger all I have to do is poke it also do just keep the key forward to make sure it pumps or key off thanks for all your help

If you poke it it should shoot a little out with the key off. Then turn the key to the run position for about 20 sec and push it again and it should shoot a little more out. The pump will only run for 10-20 sec without it running. If nothing comes out the pump maybe bad or wiring/fuse @@chatobalencian1504
