But PAL runs at 567I whereas NTSC would run at 480i. Either way, another enjoyable speed run regardless of the frame drops :)

yeah resolution we dont really care too much, its more the framerate but pal has its own benefits here and there

I was wondering why you choose to play on Xbox, is it because of load times or some change in game mechanics for this category?

yeah load times mainly, I much prefer gamecube due to the controller being nicer and the game not being so unstable. The other reason is xbox is faster due to not having fade ins on the mini cutscenes (which to me looks un natural but is faster)

ideally we will have a leaderboard split soon enough, and once i get world record back in this category i'm going back to gamecube
