Daniu FY3224s DDS signal generator
Banggood link for the generator: bit.ly/2I48Y9s
Today I am having a quick look at this unit. Seems more than adequate for messing about with electronics in spare time. Very rich feature set, not sure I understand all of them, but there is a .pdf manual in English, so i guess i have to rtfm... Needed a sig gen for a long while, this should come really handy in future projects.
BTW, I completely screwed up the intro lighting in this and previous video...

I love how you installed the power plug with a hammer! Very funny. Nice review.👍

Some owners of generators such as this have replaced the switching power supply with a transformer-isolated linear power supply, given the switcher's mains leakage voltage appears high or even dangerous.

Are Jayem thanks, I will look into this! There seems to be enough space in the enclosure to add a transformer and a voltage regulating circuitry. Sounds like a fun project to do!

@@alfa-psi didn't think of that, but low power isolating transformer, like in a shaver socket, could possibly do it. But still, I think I might eventually make linear power supply for it, seems like a cool project.

I USE MINE TO INJECT DIFFERENT MIXING FREQUENCIES INTO MY PLL STAGE IN CERTAIN CB RADIOS TO GET FREEBAND FREQUENCIES. WORKS GREAT.

Great review, dude. Really nice piece of technology. 😊 About the buzzer, a bit of hot glue and a small piece of eva (or any foam, really) should solve it. 😉
