I met Prince in ‘07 when the company I work for developed & sold his custom fragrance 3121; he was laid back & cool…knowing he was a Beatles fan, I gave him a CD copy of the mono mix of Sgt Pepper copied from vinyl which was a unique gift 2 years before that became available as part of The Beatles’ 2009 remasters; he was sincerely appreciative; I got to see 3 Prince shows in one day in his native Minneapolis; he played 7 songs at Macy’s (!) since they had exclusive rights to the fragrance when it first came out then an arena show from the 15th row then an after hours jam at the club where Purple Rain was filmed; a memorable day indeed

@@kkibela : Worked for a decade in Fashion courtesy of growing up in NYC & attending The Fashion Institute of Technology which had very knowledgeable Instructors. Now I live in Upstate NY ( Retired🌻) All these girls up here want to be models & dancers while they look at their reflections. If they only knew how hard it is to do well & yes.. it's all abt spatial awareness & angles (the model's angles & the camera angles). I worked from 1978-1988 .. So, it was a huge party which ended in a seemingly big bang of funerals. I left in 1988 mainly b/c there was nobody left & the party had ended long before. It might seem sad, but those years were the best to be young, single & talented. I am so blessed to have lived in the eras of #Motown #MichaelJackson #Prince #Whitney #Mariah #Madonna etal. while #JamesBrown #Aretha #LittleRichard etal. still ruled. Incredible times. I hope those of you over 55yrs old count your blessings. Art is Life.✌🏾

Beyonce is really a definition of a true beauty in and out. Full of talents and beauty from all angle. The reason God made a girl. And she still shining till date.
I love Prince! I loved this performance of Prince and Beyoncé. I can tell he liked her. I can tell she’s was in awe of him. When he said don’t hate us because we are fabulous I knew he was pleased. At that moment I knew he felt she did her best and he appreciated that. She kept pointing at him and he pointing back at her and her smile was priceless because she was humbled being on stage with Prince.
There’s a great interview where she talks about just how scared she was before this performance. And how Prince helped her through rehearsals. 🥰💜🎸

He’s a total wildcard live, so she did great following his lead. Doesn’t matter what happens in rehearsals with him. That gets you mayyyybe 90% of what you can expect if you’re collabing on stage with him. And he was that great, it was just accepted. Honor to share the stage.

This performance from start to finish was absolutely incredible!!! took me back to 2004 and I still feel that same excitement.
