Casino Royale in my opinion had the best suits ever. Especially that scene where Vesper has already brought him a dinner jacket and he's standing in front of a mirror.

It's amazing how Sean Connery, who wasn't used to wearing suits, carried that midnight blue dinner jacket in Dr. No with great confidence. That suit pretty much symbolizes the cult of Bond. However, Daniel Craig wore that suit even better, in Quantum of Solace. That was a perhaps a "fitting" tribute to the Connery suit. The two suits were separated by 45 years, but the elegance and style are timeless. That must rank as Bond's No. 1 suit.

Have to admit, the first time I saw the Velcro neck band as a kid I thought all suits had that. Was so disappointed when my first suit didn’t. :)

It’s was the Casino Royals “Dinner Jacket” suit scene that made me aware of the importance of a fitted, and tailored, suit jacket. I never worn a jacket without double-triple checking if it needs tailoring, or already fits me to my liking.

Brosnan was the best dressed Bond - Tomorrow Never Dies.

That gray three piece suit in Goldfinger is absolutely one of the best suits I have ever seen in my life! One of the first suits that I ever bought was a light gray three piece suit, and I bought it because of Goldfinger. Excellent video!

Sir I totally agree definitely some well suited defining moments however for me it is the suit worn by Pierce Brosnan in The World is Not Enough the scene where he leaps out of the swiss banker's window while being pursued by the enemy his spread shirt collar the true blue color of the suit the well place windsor knot an impeccable attire I must say well suited thanks for the video!

Pierce Brosnan did better earlier. The suit with the brown trenchcoat in "Tomorrow Never Dies" when Q gives him the BMW. I want an excuse to get that decked out.

Do one om your favourite Kingsman suits. I mean, they are a tailorshop after all. (My favourites are the blue dinner jacket and the orange tuxido)

I think the white suit of James Bond is the best

On of the greatest suits in the Bond franchise is the one worn by Grant (pretending to be captain Nash) in From Russia with Love. It is a heavy woolen blend suit. Grey as its main colour with light brown and light blue check. Wonderful suit!

You should do some out takes in your videos where you do some James Bond scenes. That would be fun.

I really hope that the shrunken suit trend that has plagued Craig’s bond post-QoS isn’t present in Bond 25. In my opinion, even though QoS was rather lackluster as a Bond film, it had the best tailoring for the Craig era. That being said, nothing can match Connery’s grey 3 piece and ivory tuxedo in Goldfinger... yet.

Ed Kim I totally agree. Why are the suits from sky fall and spectre so freaking small? Dan just does not have the physique for a skinny suit with a head and shoulders that big. The jacket is meant to be large to disguise the fact he is wearing a gun underneath. And that coat he wore over the suits in spectre made him look real tiny in stature. He is the shortest bond I agree but god the suit he wore in the end of casino based on the classic Sinclair gold finger three piece was outstanding and made him look 10 feet tall.

The Spectre suits were awesome. Slim fit. Appropriate for the fashion this decade.

for (00)4 do you reckon he had too much back shirt collar showing over the suit collar? It's easily over an inch. I try and make the amount of back shirt collar match how much of my shirt cuffs are showing. Somewhere around .5"

I know my choice may be controversial, but I think it's a crime to overlook Bond's later Tom Ford suits...I'm thinking Skyfall and Spectre. I like the tighter, almost body-hugging cut. The opening scene in Spectre where Bond changes out of his Dia de los Muertos outfit into his Tom Ford suit and walks the rooftops of his hotel just oozes masculinity.

I thought as at that point Bond still had disdain towards the suit he wore, that his dinner jacket may be reflected similarly so perhaps it was somewhat dated, distasteful or just a bit skanky and moth eaten. Not that the dinner suit was actually fully incorrect as a dinner suit.

Nice video, I like it very much. The selection and ranking is what I do not agree with. The specific suits: ok, more or less great wear, however, there are very many others that would rather deserve mentioning. In general, Craig's style is horrible, as he wears his suits too tight, he looks like an hourglass sometime - owed to the general style of the decade. The suits you present are different: They are boring, as too classic style, lacking fresh ideas. Brosnan and Moore (in the 80s) did something more remarkable: They didnt strongly follow the fashion of that time (e.g. the power suits) but tried to define their own style. Moore is too often reduced to the safari suits (which were horrible) in the 70s. In generel, fashion in the 70s was far from beautiful stuff. So, to come to an end of my comment: Moore wore a lot of suits that deserve mentioning :-)
