$0.95 VIETNAMESE FOOD at the Night Market 🇻🇳 Dalat Vietnam

Some of the best Vietnamese food is at the Dalat Night Market, Dalat is a beautiful city in the central highlands of Vietnam. The weather here is cool and pleasant all year round so you'll need a jacket at night, making it the perfect destination for those looking to escape the heat.
One of the most famous things about Dalat is its strawberries, which are grown locally and are known for their sweetness and juiciness. Slightly unripe strawberries are tossed in a chili sugar mixed and served here.
But that's not all there is to eat at the Dalat Night Market! I tried a lot of delicious food while I was there, including warm soy milk with pastries known as Sữa đậu nành, which is a popular breakfast food in Vietnam. The soy milk is warm and creamy, and the pastries are crispy and sweet.
I also tried avocado ice cream, known as Kem Bơ, which is a unique and delicious flavor that you won't find everywhere. It's creamy and refreshing, with a subtle avocado flavor that is surprisingly delicious.
Another must-try dish at the Dalat Night Market is Vietnamese pizza, known as Bánh Tráng Nướng. It's a crispy, savory snack made with rice paper, egg, cheese, and a variety of toppings like sausage, shrimp, and vegetables. It's perfect for sharing with friends and trying different flavors.
If you're feeling adventurous, you should also try the chili lemongrass snails, known as Ốc Xào Sả Ớt. These are small snails cooked in a spicy lemongrass sauce, and they're a popular street food in Vietnam. They're a little bit chewy, but the flavor is amazing.
Finally, I tried the grilled squid that you cook yourself at the table. It's marinated in a delicious sauce and cooked over a hot grill until it's crispy and tender. It's a fun and interactive dish that's perfect for sharing with friends and family.
Overall, the Dalat Night Market is a must-visit destination for foodies and travelers alike. There's so much delicious food to try, and the atmosphere is lively and fun.

Nice job with the chop sticks, Ayngelina! Eating a snail, which I might add, was HUGE! And those strawberries looked so very interesting, but nothing like here in Nova Scotia. I do have to say, I am so impressed by how you just take a huge bite of everything, whether you've had it before or never - you don't shy away. Thanks for that. It's nice to see someone give a review of something they've actually tried. Just watching you makes me want to try snail and squid and some of the other foods I've shied away from. Hope you're having a good time! Any plans to come back to Nova Scotia at all? Thanks for keeping it real. Heather in Nova Scotia. :)

Snail with chopsticks is probably the biggest challenge I've had eating. And I would say as a fellow maritimer that if you eat mussels, clams, oysters or any other shellfish that snails are pretty much time same. But I love how they prepare it here. Squid really depends on who cooks it, which is why I was a bit hesitant when I realized we had to cook it ourselves, it can get rubbery really fast. But Alan did a great job.
