Tips on a scooter, don't hold the driver's shoulder. It's hard to drive, just grab their waist actually :D For the traffic light, with Vietnamese, you should stop, not must, you run over the red light whenever you want if there is no police standing lmao :)))

I travelled there for business a few times around 2006, and there was virtually no cars except for the odd taxi. It was all bikes back then. Always wanted to visit as a tourist but never got around to it. One day hopefully

12:12 Yes m8, there's a shit ton of scooters in Vietnam(more than cars) as it's the cheapest form of transport vehicle for the locals to purchase. It's also the quickest way to get around as well due to the crazy congestion, especially in the city surrounds.

I mean, you've seen how close the scooters and cars to each other in the dry, so add a bit of H20 and the fun begins lol.

Shaking hands is a more western thing. But all good. Just say "Sin Chao" and bow your head a little. Love the video by the way. So exiting and full of life.

If you stop and start, you tend to take in a lot of air, which can result in bloating as you experienced. Another end result of stop and start is 🤮. 🤣

21:03 Pedestrian crossings in Vietnam should have signs that say "CROSS AT YOUR OWN RISK!".🤣 The scooter riders and cars don't respect it nor do they give way to you. I needed a new change of undies the first time I crossed one in Vietnam🤣, as both sides of the road had traffic flowing and nobody stopped.😬(It was a W I D E road as well so that didn't help lol) What they do is try their best to avoid you while in motion. Think of it like the frogger game, but with a shit ton more traffic lol. I'm pretty sure there have been many crossing accidents, as the probability of getting hit is way too high. Road rules are pretty much non-existent in Vietnam lol.

DUUDE We gotta go back there, ill drink enough to pay for the plane ticket home lol

If you feel unsafe about the bill at a bar, you pay for each serving. Then, if they are trying to scam you, you will notice a long time before it sums up to an economical catastrophe.

# 2 four on a bike is not uncommon in Cebu either. Surprising what you can get away with or they don't care about family safety. Sitting on the edge of a pick up bed while the driver worms his way through traffic.

As a Vietnamese living in Saigon, I tell you that Vinfast cars are not produced enough to sell to Vietnamese people. Many people have made deposits for cars like the VF9 for more than a year and still haven't received their turn. Vietnamese people love goods made in Vietnam. We have the movement "Vietnamese people only use Vietnamese products". Therefore, do not listen to rumors, especially those who are against Vietnam and are jealous of Vietnam's progressive development.

When I was 17 years old in high school. I sold beer at my work so I had unlimited access. I was the guy who supplied all the beers for all our parties🎉. I got really good at drinking beer really fast🎉. Then one night I met my Achilles heel. Miller Genuine Draft came out the most vile of American beers😮 for some reason I had a taste for that foamy sweet crap😮 my friend bet me I couldn't drink a six-pack of it in a half hour. Oh I did it was the worst $60 I ever made😢 in 5 minutes I was s***-faced drunk in 10 minutes I had double vision 10 minutes later I couldn't get off the ground as the world just kept spinning. This destroyed my whole Friday or Saturday night. Never do this it isn't worth the money😢 at least for me.

husband checking in just as you almost checked out. That was crazy going against traffic to get to that road. You would be dead if that wasn't a normal thing to see and accept. Just like my brother in law making a U - TURN against on coming cars in Manila. Just close your eyes and hope for the best.
